Fun place to go, take your kids. Best chorizo in Maracaibo. They have an airconditioned dining room and a large outdoor area as well. I like sitting outside until the food comes and with it comes the flies so we have since moved indoors when we go and that is just as fun.

The buffet is one of the best in Maracaibo, and the best price. You can choose whatever you want but you only get one plate... still a good value.

Maracaibo presents real challenges to travelers and, especially, residents. Still, there are a number of excellent restaurants in the city, Asaos being one of them. We received unparalleled attention and service, along with great recommendations. The dinner - appetizers through desert - was superb. A real surprise in this city of contradictions. Well worth a visit

huge tasty burgers made with their home made buns... theres a variety of different kinds you have to go back to try the rest.... service is good and the place is decorated in rock style very original, and although its part of he concept i found the volume of the music a little high However i put up with it because the food is so good parking available . sometimes you have to wait or a table especially at busy times but its so worth it

Sure, we had to go eat there, to watch the whole city pases by. The resturant looks "old" - not saying 'rundown" but could use a fresh paint, new carpet - but mostly it looked like something from the early 90's Could use a newer / fresher look. The service was great, we had called in advance, and no problem, there was a tabel waiting - no need for that, since only 1/3 of the resturant had people. We aksed for a red wine and the "head waiter" came with a nice Shiraz, so that was okay - aldo he wassent sure of the price, since it was not on the wine list! A "ensalada parma" with "jamon serano, parma cheese and so on..... well, we had 3 small slices of jamon and a few cuts of parma cheese, not starting out so great. Should have been more jamon... specialy if the sell the ensalda with jamon...We choose a risotto sicilana, was quiet good, then came dessert! Limon pie / pie de limon - nice, but way to accid. The piano guy played about 30-40 min and then took a long break.... we did not see him the last 30 min.all in all, a nice place to see the city by night/day - but don't go there for the food.Take it as a seightseeing, if your in town.we spend 640 BsF, 3 pers - shared salad, 3 main dishes, 3 desserts, 2 long island tea's and wine.

Nice typcical decoration and ambience. Good service, a bit crowded (We went on saturday). The food is regular to good, but they serve a lot of it. Try the "mojito en coco" (minced fish boiled in coconut milk). It's not cheap neither gourmet.

The food range from traditional dishes from all Venezuela -specially Zulia's state, and always having shows around, live music and drinks. You will have a real caribbean-maracaibo experience and will leave this place wishing to come back again.
