Green things and vegetables can be hard to find in Argentina - well this place has a HUGE salad bar with a big variety to choose from. The assador chefs are very helpful with the cuts and suggestions if you have made the courtesy/ effort of learning a little Spanish - and are very generous with the smoky cuts. You can go back as many times as you want for salad or meat too. Very genial owner/host too and chatty patrons. The antithesis of an expensive aloof Euro big city restaurant where even a bottle of â¬4 wine costs over â¬20. We had the lovely Doña Paula Malbec at a very reasonable price. So we had a great time, great food, fab wine and good value. Happy days.

Consigliato.

I live in Bariloche and Alberto's steak houses are rightly famous but this Pasta restaurant was awful. We were the first in. The manageress/waitress was on the phone on what was obviously a private call in a very loud voice - it went on and on. No music, no atmosphere to speak of, and my plate of spinach, corn and ricotta cheese cannelone with salsa rosa was awful. The pasta was thick and the filling borderline "off". It had been heated in the microwave and was cold in the middle and the pasta had stuck to the bottom of the plate. I picked at it a bit and left it. Go elsewhere for pasta...

Not expensive compared to Mickey D's. Craft burger made with ground sirloin, homemade bread, choice of sweet potato fries or potato. The Gulosa comes with bacon, cheese, fried egg, onion rings, and two sirloin patties, and cheddar cheese. The service was great, but we go out early compared to most folks in Argentina. Oh yeah, they have their own line of craft beer. I love Porters, as every craft beer place in town offers porter, IPA, APA, pales, and a golden or red. My boys split a burger and both got full. Good value and yummy food.Hey! Thanks for visiting us and writing this wonderful review, hope you ended you guys had a nice end of your trip! Cheers

Arrived in Las Grutas offseason Sunday night. Basically all restaurants were closed or still not yet open for the season. By chance we passed by Del Azul which was not open yet. However the owner/chef offered to serve us 1 hour ahead of the regular opening hours. We were up for a real treat. The chef put together a tasting menu for us. Sashimi of white salmon (a kind of bass) and other seafood delicacies, all caught just hours before. Followed by delicious lamb. The meal ended with a freshly baked apple-crumble with vanilla icecream. Wines came from the region and were wonderful. To our surprise this gourmet dinner was very reasonably priced. One of the best meals (if not THE best) we had during our time in Argentina. The owner did a great job creating this place.
