We enjoyed lunch and dinner at this hotel's restaurant. The servers were friendly and the food was very fresh and nicely prepared and presented. The cost of the meals were a bit on the high side but no different than other hotels of the same quality. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone staying at the hotel or nearby. They have an onsite farm so my impression was that some of the products were literally farm to table which was really special.

The burger was good, you get a tiny portion of fries. Their home made mayo is delicious. The portion sizes are way too small. I would rate it higher if the portions were larger.Tthank you so much for taking the time to rate us we really appreciated we will take those comments to are services people at the kitchen we also taking very good considerations in regards to the portion we always working forward to make our services the best experiencie to all of our customers.,we are looking forward to have you again with us..We have prices from 2$ and up depending on those types of prices is the portion..

We really enjoyed our dinner dining experience and decided to return the next morning for breakfast. Both meals were fresh, delicious and very reasonably priced. The presentation was first class. The service was excellent and praise goes to Rodrigo Kepfer who took care of our every need. He truly made our dining experience extra special. Off the beaten path but simply amazing food. We had ceviche for an appetizer which was awesome. Surf and turf and steamed tilapia were the entrees and they were simply perfect. Steamed tilapia came with vegetables and shrimp. Too much food for one person to eat - I would share an entree next time. Thank you so much for such an amazing review for Restaurante Nenes!

We walked down towards town from Hotel Lomas del Volcan and most of the restaurants were quiet but this one was very busy. So we went in and ordered dinner and was not disappointed. I think the owner served us and he spoke good english and was very helpful with the menu.Lovely food and enjoyable evening in a busy restaurant.Highly recommendedMe alegra mucho que te gustaran los alimentos y el servicio para nosotros es un placer tenerlo por aqui esperando pronto tenerlo de nuevo.

We enjoyed our lunch and smoothies at the Rio Lounge after visiting the waterfall. It is located in a nice setting and the food is good with nice service. The prices aren't inexpensive but it was comparable to other restaurants in the area. Since we didn't have a car and would have paid more for a taxi ride into La Fortuna, it definitely made sense for us to enjoy a late lunch here before heading back to our hotel.

I visited this restaurant with my boyfriend and a friend. We asked for a burger, some âpinchosâ/skewers and a fish filet. The burger: I asked for mid rare and it came over cooked. The taste wasnât great overall, the guacamole it had didnât taste like anything. The fish filet: It was average, the smashed potatoes it came with were not that good. My friend said he could make them better. The skewers: they came with a peanut sauce that had soft peanuts, not crunchy. The menu said it included jumbo shrimps and they were not that size.The drinks: The mango drink I asked for tasted like water. Nothing like mango. The strawberry drink my friend said it was good but tasted very fake. My boyfriend asked for a Coke Cola Zero. I personally feel I payed way too much for the food I got. It was a disappointing experience. We stumbled into this restaurant by chance and the Peruvian-Chinese mix sounded interesting. We were greeted with a lot of enthusiasm by one of the waiters and then again by the manager. It was done in way they think U.S. visitors must appreciate, but for my taste way too much. I appreciate a little attentation, however the waiter's fake grin and constant interventions were rather annoying. I really liked the good vegetarian choice on the menu. The food was quite okay, a bit pricey though, however nothing special. The thing that saves this review was the Pisco Sour which was really good.
