El Rinconcito Colombiano has been a local staple for over a decade. This was the first Colombian restaurant in West Palm Beach. It started as a bakery and expanded throughout time. They are open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The food is very good and consistent. It taste just like home cooking. Every time I am in West Palm this is a location I visit.

Friends took us to this restaurant recently and we loved it. It's in a somewhat out of the way strip center and the decor is uninspiring but the main event (i.e.the food) was truly excellent as was the very knowledgeable service. I had the Picante de Mariscos in yellow sauce; the sauce was wonderful - not hot spicy but very nicely and distinctively seasoned. We shared some appetizers and nothing disappointed. Try it, you'll like it.
Neighborhood eateries that are family-owned are always top on my list. This bakery with a couple of tables does not disappoint. The handmade noquis con salsa bolonesa (red meat sauce) were delicious ($8.50). Sabrina, you are a noquis Goddess!La milanesa con batatas fritas (yam fries) was delicious. The meat was very tender with even breading that was not oily. ($9.00) Leave room for the "pasta frola"! The dough is authentic with just the right amount of membrillo (quince paste). $1 per square slice. My favorite is the "frola de manzana" (with sliced apples). You can tell that it's not an American place... not a hint of cinnamon!I canât say enough good things about the new Polo Catering! At the Buttonwood Plaza (corner of 10th)[--] ---Closed on Mondays.

After trying the rather shabby La Granja location in Wellington on Forest Hill Blvd. and enjoying the food but disliking the ambience, we ate last night at this larger and more orderly location in Greenacres. The chicken was just as good and just as inexpensive. And the ambience, though still rather sketchy, was better than the Wellington location. Juicy, tender roast chicken is the star attraction. Half a chicken with rice, black beans and fried sweet plantains cost $9 at dinner and less at lunch. Considering how luscious the food is, I don't know how they can serve you so much to eat for so little money. Plenty of free parking. And plenty of food left over for another meal the next day.

This place is the bomb diggety. Where else can you get fresh food with quality ingredients and there is something for everyone. You can get grilled steak which is a large serving of savory deliciousness or you can get tostones or 4 lechhes. Arepas. I could go on forever but that is how varied the menu is. The hands down favorite has been the ultimate Gordo burger. You can't eat it all at one time. Now I am in love with the grilled corn in bowl wo meat- its mixed with cheese and other whoever knows what. Just order it. You won't be able to eat all you want so just go continually until you can have it all. Seriously that good in taste and that good in value. Don't forget a cafe con leche.

Went there for dinner not knowing what to expect and was so pleased with everything. It is located in a shopping center and might have driven by if it were not for Trip Advisor app in my phone. The staff if warm and professional and the variety of dishes is great. If you are not familiar with Latin food the waitress will take the time to explain any of the dishes to you. Special orders are easy and the whole experience was a pleasure.
