Tipical food of San Miguel/El Salvador
La servesa estuve muy muy mal y los precios son muy alto. Mi comida se sirve muy frio y ustedes no llenaron muy bebeida nunca
This is the best place to eat different in San Miguel.
Service was excellent, it took a bit longer, but the wait was worth! Food is delicious and presentation beautiful! I would definitely recommend this place to everyone, my teenage kid love it too!
Despite Gotera is a small town, you can visit this particular restaurant and enjoy good food and service. In the same place they have restaurant, bar and a hall for events. This was a family house and the restaurant's owners kept garden vegetation to have a special comfort inside.
Have eaten here rather regularly for the last months. Place is located with a great view to the Gulf, and with proper air conditioning, very comfortable. The atmosphere at lunch is relaxed, the place is very clean, and has it's own parking lot. Now to the food: The menu offers different dishes, some mexican, some honduran, seafood, steaks, paella... The dishes were a surprise: Really generous servings, and verly tasty food, with side dishes making a good balance. After trying various offerings from the menu on several dates, I would recommend this place with confidence. The waiters are friendly. On the minus side, I would not recommend this place to anyone with a hurry: The service is very slow, can take up to 45 minutes of waiting if you are with 4 or more people, and I disliked how some people would have to wait 10 or more minutes for their orders while others next to them get theirs. Prices are a bit mid-range, but the size of the servings is generous, and the place is nice, so not really a complain after all is taken into account. Nice!
If you visit San Miguel don´t miss in going to La Pradera Js, it's a good place on Roosevelt Ave. They have several options to eat and drink, you will feel like at home.

Well perhaps since it was my first night in El Salvador that made this restaurant so special- or maybe the great conversation. The food was great and lively atmosphere helped. I had camarrones and steak. If you have a large group ask for the private room!

Covana Seaside Kitchen, located at Puro Surf Hotel is set under a impressive 26ft thatched roof, open air and overlooking the Pacific. The location could not be more picturesque. The food is creative and delicious. The menu consists of global cuisine but
We stopped in for lunch yesterday on the recommendation of a friend and came away fairly pleased. We had the tuna appetizer - it was really good (though a bit heavy-handed on the sesame oil). I had the mahi-mahi grilled and served over a red quinoa. The fish was perfectly cooked, but there was too much red onion mixed in with the quinoa. My companion had the grilled shrimp and declared them fantastic - and she really liked the yucca that accompanied. Overall it was a good meal experience but perhaps the chef could oversee the prep line a little closer. The restaurant is attached to the Puro Surf hotel.
