Reviews on South American food in Buenos Aires, Capital Federal District, Argentina. Buenos Aires is a cosmopolitan city, a melting pot of very different types of people who have shaped the identity of each of its neighborhoods. Wave after wave of immigration, along with the porteños’ penchant for looking abroad, have infused each area with its own unique features, be it Recoleta’s aristocratic legacy or San Telmo’s love affair with tango.

2017 and 2018 Best Burger Restaurant in Buenos Aires #BurgerFactsAward Grilled Burgers and Hot Dogs.
This is week two of my summer burger tour in Buenos Aires and I was excited to go to Dogg. I've had their hots dogs before and they are excellent, they would rival any dog in New York, Chicago, or Philly. Today I had a triple burger with apple-wood smoked bacon(first time in the 5 years that I've lived here that I saw apple-wood smoked bacon)cheddar cheese and red onions, it was to die for, juicy, with a charbroiled flavor and a bun that just came out of the oven. I couldn't resist so I also had a hot dog with chili sauce, cheddar, and bacon, it was excellent. And to round it off we had some very excellent fries that were crisp and hot. We arrived at 11:30 AM and was told that they didn't open till noon, no problem, we waited, and then was told at 12 they were having problems with the oven and it would be at least another 20 minutes or so before they were ready, in the meantime the manager offered us a free lemonade and an order of fries while we waited, real nice gesture and was highly appreciated. The manager and the staff were excellent and friendly. I would recommend Dogg Pamermo to all, great burger joint.

Neighborhood Parilla with excellent food and service. Wide menu for a parilla and decent wine carte. Ojo de Bife was actually rare, as requested. The Estrebe salad was the best we have ever had in BsAs. Really enjoyed the meal.
It was our las night in Buenos Aires and there was a national strike. So we decided to find a restaurant near our hotel in Recoleta. We googled it and found this place. We were greeted by his owner Lorenzo. He greeted us with champagne and chorizos. The chorizos were the best we had in Buenos Aires. He recommended us the Bife Uruguayo and the Lechoncito. The food was out of this world. The bife was tender and juicy, with lots of flavor. The Lechoncito was also great, it was so good that we ordered another one. Overall, our experience was incredible, the owner, the food and the atmosphere were amazing. If you are looking to have a parrillada, this is the place. Just remember, the portions are big and the price is very reasonable. I will definately eat there again. Thanks Lorenzo for your hospitality.

I am giving this 4 stars because of the wonderful service. However in my experience the food was disappointing. This trip I am trying to eat a bit healthier ordering vegetable plates along with steak. The vegetables were overcooked and visually unappealing. The salad I ordered was drenched with way too much salad dressing. When I arrived the restaurant was empty but when leaving it was full.

After four decades among the top restaurants, Tomo 1 is a legend in the Porteno Gourmet scene -Porteno is demonym for Buenos Aires. It is a classic restaurant, but not a folkloric one; a modern classic indeed. The cuisine ran by Federico Fialayre is sophi
Perfect dinner experience. Friendly and efficient service. We told the waiter we had a show to go to and he made sure we got served promptly but without rushing us. Everything we ordered was excellent, creative, well seasoned and prepared and very well presented. Deserves high praise.

Crizia sets a fresh, international and contemporary cuisine in charge of his cook and owner, Gabriel Oggero. The offer contains dishes inspired on international cookery as Mediterranean, Asian and Peruvian in addition to our typical Argentinian recipes, l
We always visit Crizia on our last day of our Argentina vacation to enjoy a culinary highlight in the Capital before the long trip home. Crizia has a good cocktail list, fabulous oysters and superbe mains. Service is friendly and great and the kitchen surprised with those amuse bouches in between. This time I went all Patagonian, with a cocktail made from Patagonian gin and Pisco, Patagonian oysters and the excellent slow cooked Patagonian lamb. Later came the Patagonian apple (ice cream).

Great steak, good service. We didnât book so had to stand in a queue to get in (so would advise you to book). We were lucky and accidentally arrived earlier and were high up in the queue which grew very quickly. Nice touch as those waiting were given a glass of champagne as you wait!!! Donât over order one of the bigger steaks would easily feed 2.

While it's no secret that Argentine beef is worth flying around the world for, visitors to Buenos Aires don't always get the chance to experience an Argentine asado and it's many rituals and traditions. An asado is so much more than a piece of beef on a p
This was worth every dollar/peso and then some. 5 courses with 5 wine pairings with pretty damn good food for about $70 USD was a good deal especially given how liberally they pour the wine. Also, my NY Strip was so damn good and fresh that I didnât add anything to it. No salt. No sauce. Nada. I just enjoyed it as is. Also, Slylvenia who was in charge of the asado could not have been nicer or more welcoming. What a fantastic experience. I just wish the asado went on for longer. Do it. This is worth it and then some. Thank you so much for your rescomendation S8284BMjamesaIt's great to know that our customers really enjoy our Asado, as much as we do!You will always be welcome to enjoy our tradition together, best regards from the hole Team!!
