The best place to have lunch and breakfast in the beautiful neighborhood of La Candelaria in Bogota, near the most historical places, located between the Plaza de Bolivar and Museo del Oro. You´ll find the best "calentados", a really good dish based on th
This is a great little restaurant. The owner speaks excellent English and is super nice. It's wonderful to find a restaurant that serves healthy food and takes care with every plateful. Great soups, rice dishes and other stuff and a nice atmosphere. Very reasonable prices.

Tabula means table in Latin. We are rustic and shared kitchen. A wood stove is its heart. Long, slow cooking, huge slugs to serve in large wooden tables where food and drink abound, and where Francachella begins a feast of joy filling bellies and hearts o
Iâm so happy I finally got to try Tabula after several trips to Bogota. The restaurant itself is modern, warm and welcoming. Everything we tried was delicious. The wood burning oven gives everything fantastic flavor. I recommend coming in a group so you can order several dishes so you can sample all the great dishes. Chef Rueda is so talented and I look forward to returning for another amazing meal.

This small restaurant is also the base of a design bureau. The fusion food served here is an amazing mix of the most delicious Colombian flavors. Coastal recipes meets traditional fruit desserts, along with some delicacies that are exotic even for the loc
I think the menu was created to impress and attract customers."Poisonous" cassava I was told may be just a "legend", giant squid in my opinion bigger calamari, however the lemon ants where interesting and tasty actually, beef neck (reconstructed)tasty too.The place seems like unfinished but actually I liked the design. There are some architectural or design studio on the premises.Staff was polite , they let me use their land line phone.Overall good experience, a little disappointment but I would go back to try something else. The place it's not to easy to find, one my way there the cab driver hesitated and at departure a few cabs gave up coming. My cell coverage outside was spotty.

Matiz restautant is set in a charming historical building that has been extended tastefully. We had a table in the winter garden, by an artificial waterfall, which was beautiful. The waiters were very attentive and charming. And the menu was amazing â we would have loved to pick each and every meal. Needless to say the food was delicious and did justice to their reputation as seafood specialists.

A unique and cozy place in Chapinero Alto with amazing pastries, baked empanadas and excellent coffee.
Whoever commented on their fruit juices picked something else. Mine was an explosion of flavors. The empanada candelaria changed my mind about this aspect of Colombian cuisine. Now for the tomato soup. In Godâs name donât think Campbellâs. Weâve talking parallel universe. No connection whatsoever with your childhood soup. Delicately yet complexly assembled flavors fashioned into a smooth ambrosia. Thanks for your amazing visit, hope to have you here again!
No destaca.

Felices fiestas
Ate at this cute little bistro on our first night in Bogota. Plantain soup was surprisingly delicious ( ALWAYS eat the soup in Colombia). We shared patacones and fresh guacamole and the chicken entree served with tiny salted potatoes. Price is great and portions huge! Totally forgot to take pictures!

Not a good experience at allDear AdanWe regret that the experience was not the best for you.We would like to know your contact number so that our service boss can contact him and know a little more about the experience in our restaurant.Regards¡

Quaint family run Peruvian restaurant which serves the best Peruvian in Bogota. Mr. Cesar Fernandez Vizconde and his all-Peruvian team our proud ambassadors of the exquisite traditions of Peruvian cuisine from the causas and anticuchos to the lomo saltado
In the high-end Chapinero district is an unassuming Peruvian gem. Simple tables belie the complexity and the honesty of the food. An incredibly wide-ranging menu that covers the fullest range of Peruvian cuisine. Ingredients appear to be of the highest grade and are well-prepared.I've sampled ceviche all over Colombia, for instance, and theirs equals the best I've had in Miami, Providence, Boston and certainly Lima. One can eat here at random from the menu and emerge satisfied in so many senses.
