We went here especially for their âRhode Island Stuffies â. They are stuffed clams or actually stuffed Quahog clams. Done as only Elizabethâs Restaurant can do them. Everyone has their own adaptation on stuffed clams. Their stuffies are excellent & well worth the drive. We split a New England style Lobster Roll that came with a fresh tortellini salad. That too was excellent, made with large chunks of lobster & a little mayo. Save room for a home made dessert or at least take one home. The best desserts ever! We were able to park out in front for free. Parking is available on the side too. Service was great! The place is very small. Putnam is an old mill town. No need to dress up crazy. The staff were all very nice and our server was excellent. Would go back again Iâm in town. If you go to dinner, you would be well advised to have an reservation.
Yes this is a review of a chain restaurant. There are a number of Subwayâs in the area and this one is above average. It is kept clean and tidy. The staff is friendly and efficient. I have never had an issue with the food or service there. There is plenty of parking and it is handicap accessible. Today I had a spicy Italian sub on Italian herb bread and enjoyed it thoroughly.

Established in 1986, Margaux's is the original! We feature our exclusive combinations, specialty wraps, deli salads, and homemade soups. Also serving chili & taco salads, barbecue & ruben sandwiches. Truly the best deli in town!
I had passed by Margaux's for years and finally had a chance to grab lunch one afternoon while headed through Southbridge. Obviously, I had been hearing amazing things about the deli for years and had pretty high expectations and was quite thrilled to finally giving it a try. It's a small deli, only a few people working (three on the day I was there) - really, nothing special. I had to greet staff...no one welcomed me, no one even said hello. The specials are listed on a menu board on the SIDE of the counter...so, I had to ask and I got a finger pointed to the side of the wall. Placed my order of a sandwich, soup and chips. Price are on the high side of average for sandwiches...cold sandwiches at that...and soup. And, sorry to say it but my sandwich was only average too. All in all, not impressed...an average sandwich shop. What I like and applaud is that it's likely a independently owned shop and, that, I fully support. Staff should really be trained a bit more though as a little personality can go a long way.

We went for trivia night and even though Hank's was very busy, Lyn the owner was able to accommodate the six of us. We all really enjoyed our meals and the happy hour specials, and the trivia was a lot of fun! We also enjoyed the delicious complimentary popcorn. The service by both the hostess and our waitress was excellent. We are so happy you enjoyed Trivia! Itâs always a great night. Hope to see you again soon.
