This unassuming hole in the wall in a small strip mall is pure delight. Although bracketed by a 7-11 convenience store, a discount mobile phone shop, and a dry cleaner, you know you've chosen well when you see chairs arrayed outside for waiting diners and the chairs are all filled. This is a busy place. Rightfully so. We were fortunate to hit a lull and were seated immediately but people were waiting for a table the entire time we were there. The food is terrific. Is it authentic? The customers were 98% Asian when we ate there. That's a good sign about authenticity. I ordered a seafood Pho with shrimp and crab. It did not resemble what I'm used to getting in San Jose but it was delicious nevertheless. One of my dinner companions ordered yellow curry chicken with french bread. Seemed unusual. Also delicious. Be prepared for the endless menu. It's 30 or 40 pages long. Better: do your homework and study the menu online before visiting. Very highly recommended.

After 1 hour in line at about 2pm on a weekday afternoon, we were quickly seated. Great vibes. $1 Kirin beer. Like the menu where you can build your own bowl of ramen. A basic bowl of ramen with cha siu, noodles and green onions costs $6.95, and all other toppings (too many to choose) are extras.

Little Sheep Mongolian Hot Pot is a restaurant specializing in Mongolian style hot pot dining. With 36 spices and ingredients in our original soup base recipe, our flavorful broth is sure to satisfy every single one of your taste buds. The highest quality
Located in the shopping center where 99 Ranch is located this is upstairs a few steps from the Focus Department Store. The parking here is horrible even during the weekdays.Like other Little Sheep locations this one also has the lunch special for $9:95 I chose the pork shoulder since the waiter couldn't tell me what kind of fish they use for their hot pot. The portion of ingredients was large, filling and yummy like their other locations but I noticed this location didn't seem as busy as the Hacienda Heights location. There was only two waitters and they spoke little English but service was spot on.I would definitely return or recommend this Little Sheep Hot Pot location.
