We are regular visitors to this family run fish restaurant. The reasons we go back are the excellent fresh, locally caught (as opposed to farmed) fish, friendly service and, considering the very high quality of the dishes served, reasonable prices.There is a cabinet where you can select the fish that you want, from a range of locally sourced caught fish of various sizes, which can then be cooked in a range of ways according to the menu. The house white is inexpensive and works perfectly with the food on offer. If visiting during the high season it is highly recommended to book in advance, especially if near a weekend. People travel a considerable distance to come to this unassuming gem, so best reserve a place.Most people seem to get there, all together, around 8:15 so I'd advise you to try to be there just before or right at 8pm to beat the rush to order.The place is children friendly and, in the summer, there are a few tables outside.Definitely worth visiting, we're looking forward to our next visit.

We first took lobster maki ( speciality) and they were amazing, tasty inside, crispy outside, not expensive but then my girlfirend took a soup which was good, i asked for a chirachi who was really disapointing, although prepared by the chef, it looked like nothing, what i received was far away from what i was expecting ( the photo on the menu ). my girlfriend still makes fun about my face when the waitress brought the chirachi.

- Location: in a small and lovely street in the centre of Grosseto- Decoration: very cosy, a lot of flowers, homy , a lot of pictures, quotes and flowers- Service: very friendly and helpful ladies- Menu: varied - Food: very good--> lovely bean soup and egg with truffle, chicken and grilled vegetables

I had conflictual feelings about this place. This has been suggested by the owner of one of the best restaurants in Grosseto, so that was already a well start. Then the lady who served us was so kind and walcoming that it was a pleasure to stay there. In between a mix of weird treatments by the owner put the experience a bit out of comfort zone. In the end he made up the doubts gifting us with a local present that partially recovered the feeling of not being take in "too much consideration" (we ordered a 2012 wine bottle and we did not notice that he brought us a 2014 one...which was completely different in quality and taste...then we recognized the mistake and asked for the second being 2012, and was sooooo much better. No words about that has been done by the owner, when just a few words and excuses would definitevely put our table ok with everything). A part of this, top quality Fiorentina, good wines, nice place, nice people. Deserve a visit.

Enjoyed a couple of our Sicilian favourite dishes at this restaurant. Started off with ragu filled arancini which was extremely filling but good (glad we only ordered one!) The pasta alla Norma to follow was delicious. Appreciated the complimentary limoncello at the end of the meal. Thanks many many .... welcome

Nice old fashioned restaurant run by owners. Everything is fresh and well cooked. Excellent home made pasta. Try their Ravioloni. Nice genuine antipasti and very good lamb (fried or roast). Friendly but little slow service. Worth the try as very near the city walls.

An unforgettable experience at the restaurant of a chef pretender to the first Michelin star. If you arrive in Grosetto, I recommend that you do not bypass it. I'm sorry I can't share and taste the dishes with you guys.... metaphors and pleasant comparisons I'll let you find them. I don't usually play when it comes to dishes, so I'm demanding!
