Thoughtful, creative, Canadian cuisine. Seasonally rotating menus showcasing the best of local ingredients. Also offering an amazing selection of baked goods daily as well as artisan breads. Breakfast is served from 9am- 11am Tuesday-Friday, lunch from 11
We have been to Electric City Bread Company several times and have always been pleased. Excellent quality home-cooked food. Friendly service. Excellent coffee and homemade jams. We were disapointed recently when we arrived at exactly 10:45 for breakfast which is served until 11:00 and were curtly told by one of the staff that they were no longer serving breakfast

Needing a good nutritious lunch we found Soupçon and enjoyed three delicious soups and their hearty beer bread mini loves. Very inexpensive and excellent! This is obviously a very popular place as there was constant take-aways and running out of popular soups. Fortunately there was lots of choices. Hard working, nice women running the place, congratulations!

Stopped by here for lunch when my mom came to visit. Very friendly service, tasty sandwich, and it included a drink (probably built into the price but whatever!). Little place to sit outside. We felt very welcome and the sandwich was brought to our table. Thanks for lunch!!

Authentic Mexican food, served quick and fresh. Real food, cooked from scratch, learned over the years from my Mom at our taco stand in Mexico City. It doesnât get any better!
Lovely folks, very unlovely chicken tacos. I ordered chicken tacos but was not asked to choose between different kinds and received what tasted like plain boiled chicken in a 100% tasteless white sauce. Nothing Mexican tasting about it. I drowned everything in a mildly acceptable sort of salsa but was only able to eat one. My two lunch guests had a similar reaction; one took only one bite and left her meal uneaten, also found a bone in the first bite. My son felt bad for the staff and ate his tacos also drowned in salsa or he would not have been able to eat it. Who puts plain white rice in their tacos? All three of us received the white pasty sauce even though only one of us had ordered it. We were all too stunned to say anything but I'm mad at myself now for not giving immediate feedback. Extremely disappointed.Good Afternoon Michael,Thank you for your review. I am surprised that you did not say anything to the staff who were working. I know that if my experience in a restaurant was as bad you say yours was, I would never have paid for my meal and I would most definitely have spoken to the staff. The Pollo a la Crema is a pulled chicken in a mild cream sauce with caramelized onions and poblano peppers. Mexican food is not necessarily spicy or heavily seasoned. Tex Mex food, on the other hand can be made this way. I will need to contact my supplier about any bones in the meat as our chicken is boneless and skinless. We pull our chicken by hand and am surprised that it could have been missed. Having said that, we will definitely look into this. Please accept our sincerest apologies for your visit and I would invite you to come back and speak with our Chef so that he can make it right for you. We take pride in our food and our restaurant and take this review very seriously.
