When food2go first opened it was fantastic, with the owners going the extra mile for local customers, with a great choice of day menu and night menu and they did deliveries too which was really handy. We had a few deliveries at home at night plus a few from our office at work.Great Prices and friendly staff. Shame they have now no time for the long loyal customers. As in, our office ordered lunch ( we are 1/2 mile from them and a hospital with potential customers on there doorstep ) they never appeared and on calling them back they would not ans there phone, this has happened more than once now, and even complained via email but no response. Same with home deliveries. On there social media, times of opening and days open are incorrect as they are closed on a sunday now. Although they never used to be friends at work phoned them to place an order one sunday and got no reply? When they did answer she was told rather cheekily 'Naw were shut we need time to stocktake and clean the place' They have started outside catering which is doing well, but this now affects the running of the snack bar, and they cant be bothered with the locals now.About a week and a 1/2 ago, i came off my 12 hour night shift and the time was approx 08.30am, remembering social media and there menu pamphlets which show the opening times of 6am. When i walked in they were clearly cooking as the breakfast items was on the griddle and the lovely aroma of bacon just what u need after a busy nightshift.....Yum.So can you imagine..... i was told rather crabbitly ' sorry we are not open yet we open at 9am' ???When my hubby pointed out it was 6am on all there notices. He was told by same crabbit woman ' well we were up late last night at a venue doing catering so we are opening at 9am'I found there customer service appalling, and if they are up late etc. That has nothing to do with customers who just want breakfast! There was no signs to explain this to customers. By paying too much attention on the outside catering, they lost 3 hours of business the following day and god knows how many regulars? I for 1 will not be back. Must be great to have a business and open and shut when the mood takes you.
