Saigon 2 Siam Bistro opened its doors in June 2014. It was formerly known as Saigon Bistro Express which only served Vietnamese Cuisine. We have added Thai Cuisine to the menu. Saigon -2- Siam Bistro is now serving the best of both worlds - Vietnamese and
We enjoyed our visit here (first time), but major inconsistencies left us wondering if they have their act together. Our food was very good (thoroughly enjoyed my pineapple fried rice with chicken), and the service started out very well. But we became a bit unhappy ...-- when someone arrived after we did, and their order was taken first and their food arrived first. Hmmmmm ... wonder why that happened;-- when our main course arrived BEFORE the appetizer arrived (we had to ask about the appetizer!) ... wonder why that happened;-- when we had to ask for eating utensils other than chopsticks (no spoons on the table) ... wonder why;-- when we seemed to be abandoned by our waiter, we had to go to the counter to ask for our check, and the check didn't seem to be anywhere ... wonder why???Will we be back? Not sure, as we don't live in Gilroy. But I do hope they can get the service part of the restaurant to match the good food.

We stop in here every time we pass through Gilroy on the way to the bay area. this place is clean, friendly and attentive staff, large menu with excellent food. The beef broth-based noodle soups are outstanding and full of wonderful ingredients (#8 is my favorite). We love this place.

Visited this Deli two times during our two week stay in California and it came as a welcome break from shopping. Warm welcome from the staff and the service was good. The deli serves sandwiches, soups, wraps as you would expect. We were surprised how big the sandwiches were but still managed to eat without sharing on our second visit because the food quality was very good.Coming back to San Jose in November from the U.K. and will visit again if we choose this mall for more retail therapy.

The taste is authentic, meats are grilled outdoors, I had asada and pastor, the asada was good and the pastor was tasty and not greasy. lots of condiments and salsas very fresh, and service so fast I sat down popped the top on my soda and my food came! If I had one recommendation it would be to put a screen door on the back door to the kitchen to control the flies.

Most selections area with noodles and or rice. Their noodle soups are pretty good. The Pad Thai is also delicious, not authentic but goes well with my kids. We like their boba drinks. I love their taro cases and the coffee milk drink. Service is efficient. Value is very good. Place is clean. Their Chili is distinct that I used to take home yet slowed down due to heartburn :_(For quick and cheap eats before or after you shop from the outlets or to stop over to and fro SFO then come and check this place.
