We had the best Seafood Chowder and Halibut Fish and Chips. We ate here a year ago and made sure we came back. Service is excellent and the food even better.

We stopped here for lunch and had a truly terrible meal. My mother, who is a born-and-raised Brit, couldn't decide whether to laugh or cry. The tiny tea sandwiches were bland and unimaginative. The soup was demented -- leek and potato with CURRY?? You couldn't taste the leek at all. And then the sausage rolls -- two tiny sausage rolls for $9?? Come off it! The regular sandwiches were at least a decent enough size to make a meal. The actual tea is pretty good, but it's tea, for Chrissake. This place caters to Americans who think they know what British tea should be. It really should not be this.I don't know if it was coincidence that everyone in our party had stomach problems later that day, but it certainly was suspicious. I cannot possibly recommend this place to anyone.

My daughter and I stopped in Florence for lunch and found Mo's to be convenient. We both wanted some fresh seafood and chowder. Our waiter, George, was attentive and made some great recommendations. I had the halibut fish and chips, my daughter the clam chowder and fish tacos. YUMMY! We also ordered bloody marys which were some of the best I have ever had! Spicy and thick! The fish was cooked perfectly (not something every seafood restaurant seems to know how to do) and the chowder was second only to my husband's family recipe! Casual, comfortable with good service. Would recommend to anyone looking for good food, lots of fresh seafood options, and a great meal!Thank you so much for the great rating and response! We love that you enjoyed your time at Mo's.Our Bloody Marys are a customer favorite for sure! Thank you so much for taking the time to give us some great feedback.

Some of the reviewers here may think otherwise, but I absolutely adore the Firehouse's Deluxe Clam Chowder. Perhaps because of the way it's prepared out of tradition is the reason it scores low with some palates. I myself find it's fusion of ingredients very tasty and satisfying. Try a large bowl with the included garlic bread for a 10 spot and a cold draft of your liking. Best deal on the OC.
