Was a excellent surprise. The view is stunning over the mountains and the food delicious. Traditional tirolean with a fine touch. The price is very good for the food,view and environment that you have. The lady is very kind. We had a lovely evening ;)

I have never had a dumpling other than what my mother had made when I was a kid, but we were seated with a German couple, who strongly suggested we try them, and wow, they were excellent. They were so full of flavor and butter that we had to come back in a few days and have more. We had a house red and white wine that were also excellent. And we had many many laughs with the German couple who were a pure joy to be seated with. The service was so pleasant and helpful, in fact I gave them a large tip which you don't have to do in Italy But when the service and food is this good, you must. A perfect 2 evenings (except on the second night we were seated with kind of a grumpy guy, but oh well, I had my dumping). Don't pass this place up, or the dumplings.

Locale abbastanza isolato ma con una vista stupenda sulla valle sottostante. Ci sono alcuni tavoli interni e diverse tavolate esterne. Menu tipico tirolese con canederli, crauti, patate , carne e ottimi dolci. Castagne e vino nuovo nel periodo autunnale. Buona la qualità delle pietanze. Prezzo conveniente.

Man erreicht die Sesselschwaige von Ums über den Prügelesteig, sehr attraktiver, abwechslungsreicher Zustieg. Eine gemütliche Stube steht zur Verfügung, bei schönem Wetter auch ein Gartenrestaurant direkt vor dem sehr schönen Holzhaus. Sehr freundliche, angenehme Bedienung. Die Menükarte zeigt typische Südtiroler Gerichte, einfach, währschaft, nahrhaft. Ideale Jausestation auf dem Weg zum Schlern oder nach Tiers. Wird oft und regelmässig besucht.

Everything was perfect: a stylish rifugio with spotless facilities and great food. The owners pay a lot of attention to details: the room are tastefully decorated, even if tiny. The staff is very friendly. The atmosphere is welcoming and calm. An excellent spot for those who walk Alta Via 1.

This restaurant is conveniently located near the town center. You can dine inside or there is a lovely patio area too. The food is really good - rustic Mediterranean - lots of fresh pasta dishes (like one with shaved truffles) - huge portions -great value - great service....and they have food for celiacs. This place was recommend to us by some tour guides who go there whenever they are in town and I too highly recommend it.Everyone we met who worked at the restaurant spoke Italian, German, and English and so help with the menu was easy.
