Word of mouth from the local villagers led us to Barchetto. They knew what they were talking about. It's a fabulous setting and the service was very attentive, helpful and efficient. We only looked at the seafood options and were very pleased with our meals. The entree with 6 different tastings was absolutely delicious.

A bustling, busy, big dining room. A group of 17, we had pre-ordered our choices. Drinks orders were fairly speedy. Food was slower in coming, but not really surprising under the circumstances. Well presented tasty food, reasonable prices, pleasant staff.

The road up to the restaurant gives breathtaking views across the many valleys although not for the faint hearted. We were fortunate to have friends who took us to il totto and the food and wine was fantastic. Simple local produce wonderfully prepared and a real taste of Tuscany. Thoroughly recommended and will return.

Ci siamo fermati il giorno di ferragosto mentre eravamo a gironzolare per la zona, c'era una vasta scelta di ogni ben di dio, infatti ci siamo fatti prendere dalla golosità e alla fine eravamo pieni come le uova :) e tutto buonissimo! La titolare gentilissima, consigliato!

Il locale e stato fondato nel 1979 dove era aperto solo come bar, ma nel 1986 i coniugi Dini decisero di passare alla ristorazione mantenendo anche il bar, da li un grande successo gastronomico. Il locale si trova a Castelnuovo di Garfagnana, sotto l'Anti

First time in Castelnuovo we found this nice little restaurant. Good Italian food and service from whom we believe was the owner. I recommend sitting on the veranda and enjoy the town life going past. Everybody knows everybody and the people are really friendly. Castelnuovo is not a common tourist destination, which is probably why the service here is so warm and welcoming.
