the restaurant is recommended by a local. itâs located at via atenea, a main street of agrigento. itâs pretty modern in decor and looks pretty high end. Price is reasonable though. Pasta and pizza are both delicious. Fried mixed seafood is fresh and crispy. Aubergine ala sicilian is good. Overall a great meal at good price. itâs indeed a good recommendation.

We waited for a table because we didnât have a reservation.They made us waiting without giving a clear answer about how long we should wait. A table got free and me and my friend we seated, thinking that it was for us. The waitress came and brought us a bottle of water. After a while another man came and told us that the table was not for us and asked us to stand up. Actually two friends of the guy just arrived, also without reservation, and thatâs why the table was not for us! I have been working in the hospitality for many years and frankly speaking I would never ask a customer to stand up and give the table to other people, even if they had a reservation. I would rather try my best to get another one. May be this is the reason why they didnât get any Michelineâs star for 2019.... If they keep treating possible customer like this , sooner they wonât get anyone Quando siete arrivati avete visto che il ristorante era pienissimo, più di 30 persone attendevano fuori che si libera il tavolo per accomodarsi. Vi ho chiesto di aspettare il vostro turno, nel frattempo si è liberato un tavolo e vi siete seduti in un tavolo di una coppia di turisti che erano arrivati prima di voi. Vi ho chiesto gentilmente si aspettare il vostro turno. Non è giusto scrivere una recensione falsa e offendere chi lavora con professionalità e tanti sacrifici solo per creare danno alla nostra attività . Abbiate un Po di rispetto per chi lavora.

We went there because of the good reviews and we were not disappointed. We had an amazing meal. I had spaghetti alla chitarra with sear urchin sauce and a stuffed calamaro. Service was fast and kind. Would highly recommend, prices also are very reasonable.

This restaurant was suggested to us by the concierge at the Villa Athena. We were looking for a not fancy local restaurant on the coast, with excellent seafood. We were not disappointed! The food was exceptionally fresh.The spaghetti al vongole was superb, spiced to perfection and filled with the smallest and sweetest clams I've ever. My wife's spaghetti con frutti di mare was equally good.While there were other American couples at the restaurant, most of the tables were filled with Italians, who clearly were enjoying both the wonderful food and interesting ambiance.One of the dining highlights of our trip.
