We are a tavern, we are a place where you can find the dishes of the past. Without too many frills, real dishes, local ingredients and lots and lots of love for this wonderful land. Sicily! We invite you to come and visit us, try our dishes and drink a go
We had pre-dinner drinks here, only SO glad we went elsewhere for dinner! 6 Apero Spritz cost us E48! In Palermo, Aperol Spritz should cost about E4 each. We were obviously given a special "tourist rate" so suggest if you are tourists you avoid these rip-off merchants and go to the Taverna opposite who charge E3.50

Fish forward menu. Interesting interpretations of traditional Sicilian e.g., tuna caponata- which was excellent. Husband had a traditional pasta Norma which was also good. My special pasta-with local fish and porcini mushrooms was a little too fishy for my taste. All in all, a good spot to try if you're looking for something out of the usual.

Cucina Moderna Siciliana
Tired of the âtourist menusâ consisting of pasta and pizza and âSicilian favoritesâ ?We were! Come to Bebop for a real dining experience. This is a modern restaurant which blends traditional Italian cooking with modern cuisine. The menu is focused and all about doing a smaller number of dishes really well. It also caters only for a small number of guests allowing them to focus on quality and service. As a consequence booking ahead is desirable, especially during busy times. We visited 3 times and tried most dishes and found all to be superb. The staff are particularly good. A special shout out to (Mona) Lisa :)

I stopped here to try sfincione and was not disappointed. But also my greeting upon entering the restaurant was very warm and welcoming. The owner, Salvo, not only provided very good and fresh food, but he also helped me study the Italian language. His space on the street is very fun and he is a very kind and genuine man. Definitely stop in here for some sfincione and a warm conversation.

The dishes are the real protagonists of our restaurant, but so is everything else, such as the location, the environment, hospitality and service. The well-being of our "GUESTS" will be our priority so that you can better enjoy this exciting unique dining
Worryingly we were the first to arrive but the welcome was warm and others followed quickly. Not that easy to find just the name on the glass over the door. It is in Via Quattro Aprile. Don't be put off because it is such a find. Food exceptional and service brilliant. Best we tried on Palermo. Interesting Amuse Bouche with a glass of sparkling. Octopus and Brill to follow. Delicious would not hesitate to go back.

Owners of large and small eating and drinking establishments around the world hang Tripadvisor stickers on the doors of their restaurants and bars, no matter what place they occupy. The owner of the leader of the Palermoâs July 2019 ranking doesn't worry about it at all. He just sells steaks, hamburgers and just meat on Mondello beach. You can roast a steak here and eat it on the beach like we did. Or you can eat it here. The quality of pork steak is excellent! The prices are reasonable (pork steak and hamburger cost less 7 EU). Burger was not surprised. Unfortunately, you canât buy a glass of home-made wine. Just a bottle. How much meat should I eat for one bottle of Sicilian wine? Everything else is fine.

We travelled all over the Sicily and tried many arancini but this was the BEST. Lovely place with small seating/standing area but the food "arancini" really the best. Not fatty at all. They managed to bring old Sicily fast food to another level which is suitable for modern traveler. You can find a lot of varieties from meat, cheese, fish, etc. Highly recommended. Just try it.
