We chose to eat here mainly because there is public parking nearby and having read the Tripadvisor reviews were looking forward to something special.Unfortunately for us the menu was in Flemish, no French or English translations were available. However the staff were helpful and showed us pictures of various dishes. The food we ordered was OK but not special, considering the cost. This is not a place I will return to.

Restaurant with beautiful location on the beach . Specialised in Bouillabaisse, Fish and Lobster. Tender Beef. A nice selection of wine. July and August also open on Monday
Residing in Zeebrugge for a few months about five years ago we were delighted when this restaurant opened for the start of the season, previously just about everywhere was closed when we arrived in March. It was still quite windy and cool and we sat inside and when in Belgium, I just have to have the Mussels, which i did Mussels with wine. During the summer months, a see through marquee like structure was created over the road from the restaurant and in front of the sea and sand. Beautiful, but this time I had the fish stew which was good, service was good but you had to book well in advance as it got booked out very quickly. So this time taking a journey down memory lane we visited Zeebrugge again when staying in Brugge and as there was a vacant table on the sea and sand side decided to stay for a meal, and I have to say that yet again I opted for the Mussels in wine, which were excellent, in fact have always enjoyed both mussels and pancakes in Belgium. Thank you Sea and Sand for making our trip down memory lane a really good memory.

Nice little family-runned restaurant right in front of the entrance of the Zeebrugge marina. We took the 5 course menu which was a pure delight. Unfortunately enough appropriate wines were not included in the price. The service is friendly and alert to your needs. All in all good value for your money.

If You want to eat lobster, come here. They serve the best lobster ever. Also warm lobster dishes available in different styles, realy delicious. Choose the lobster of the northsea over the Canadian one, a bit more expensive but 1000 times more delicious, worth every euro and You don't eat lobster every week.

Based on their website you would be right to expect high quality seafood. What you get is an industrial sized "shove it on their plates and sell it is expensive as possible". Their "famous" shrimp croquettes are industrial. The crab is served straight from the fridge. They do not even bother to make the effort to pretend anything is freshly prepared. The rudeness of the service staff when I asked why I was served something straight out of the fridge when I could reasonably expect a fresh meal was beyond description. They tried to make me feel like a fool who does not belong here, since he does not know anything about seafood. The menu is embarrisingly short on fresh fish (usually 1 option: cod). Yes, there are shell fish on offer. If you want to feel like a fool go ahead and order a platter for > â¬50. Count how many oysters you get, how much lobster there is and compare this with the amount of cheap rubish you get served on the same plate.

Giving this restaurant an overall rating is a conundrum. Within the category of a brasserie it serves excellent food at an excellent price. No pomp and circumstance, no artistic presentation, no pizzaz - just delicious, well-prepared food. I had the rib-eye steak with the poivre sauce, frites and a fresh garden salad. All the servings were generous, the steak was perfectly cooked to order, the frites were classic Belgium frites served with mayo and the salad was a lovely mix of garden greens with a light dressing. The only minor shortcoming was the poivre sauce which, although very flavorful, was a bit too thin for my personal preference. This restaurant will please you whether you are age 8 or 80!

What can one say more than simply ...heaven ... What I particularly love about this kitchen is the simplicity and yet very great flavors that are present in your dishes. Simple and tasteful ingredients revisited by a great chef, with no fuss about it (unlike some others). Either menu you choose it'll always be a culinary feast. Bart Desmidt is also a chef who defends the quality of local products and certainly Northseafish. Add to that an almost perfect and impeccable service by the lady of the house, view on the sea, pleasant atmosphere, reasonable prices for a two stars Michelin restaurant, and you have the reasons why this is my favourite star ranked restaurant in Belgium.

Actually this was the second time we went to this restaurant. It's near to the Church in Zeebrugge and have enough parking next to the restaurant along the street.Food was fabulous and tempo was just nice. Friendly staffs nice menu card. Everything was perfect. It's quite popular therefore need to book before you go. Week or two before.

Been back there twice this summer, and have not been disappointed. They have redone the interior, good taste - the spotlights above the tables are a bit too strong, maybe they can correct that. The food is excellent, fresh fish obviously, good croquettes crevettes. Honestly priced. White wine by the glass is excellent. But above all, the warm and efficient welcome and service/supervision of the service by the lady of the house makes it a place where very little can go wrong and where you can count on a good restaurant experience.

Located in the hart of Knokke-Heist, offers a panoramic vieuw on Place m'as tu vu and is famous for its T-Bone and meat fondue on friday's, as well as the roasted cod, grilled tuna and its calf sweetbread. Also takeaway possible
I was here with a group and the service was brilliant as was the food. Fresh flavoursome and varied menu. Staff very attentive and the ambience was good. It was not expensive but it was a classy menu......The portions are not huge but were enough for us but may not suit a teenager.....loved it.
