Zandvort is to Amsterdam what Brighton is to London--a large seaside resort easily reached by train. It takes half an hour to get there from Central Station. It has a long sandy beach and, in common with the rest of the Netherlands coastline, an expanse of sandy dunes which serve to protect the low lying country from the sea. In the summer months, beach bars catering to all tastes line this beach. It is also the site of the Netherlands' most important car racing circuit.

Sushi restaurant on the boulevard in Zandvoort with a terrace which has stunning views of the sea. This is the place for delicious freshly made sushi. Sushi is not your thing? ZIZO Lounge also has other delicious bites. Enjoy the view while sipping a cock
We had dinner in Zizo Lounge Zandvoort. Service was great, very friendly and helpful. Only disadvantage maybe that some orders (drinks) took some time to arrive at the table, making you wonder if they might have forgotten it (but they had not). I also noticed another review about the Iens action and reaction from management on this issue, stating all other guest knew the 50% discount on food came in the form of a set menu. We also booked via the Iens app and were under the impression that we could order from the menu at a 50% discount on all food items. We had no problem with the menu so did not make a point out of this, but I do feel for the family who came especially to ZIZO Lounge to eat sushi at a discount for the birthday of the daughter. The Iens app clearly stated that the action was a 50% discount on all food. It might have been a mistake from Iens as management stated, but this should not hurt your clients! But this was just some support for another reviewer, we did not experience any negativity (although we were under the impression to eat sushi at 50% discount). We enjoyed the menu! The food is very fresh, we had a five course meal which featured a lot of the main items on the menu and had us sharing food. A very nice experience, only small negative for us was that two dishes featured truffle. We like truffle a lot but it is a flavor that tends to overpower a bit. One dish would have been enough for us, but that is peanuts. As far as the sushi/sashimi goes; excellent taste and really fresh! Definitely worth going and order yourself a big plate of fantastic and authentic tasting rolls!

What a wonderful place ..! It is worth of their Michelin rating and for me, it is now top of the list. The chefs are simply ARTISTS. They are certainly more than accomplished chefs. The service was superb. The food was to die for. It is not just food. It is poetry in motion. Very grateful to our friends for taking us to this culinary paradise.

Went here after some time at the beach for a beer which was nice. Friendly atmosphere just at the beach. Some waiting time for service though. Went here the same evening for dinner since we wanted to have a sea food plateau. The sea food was of good quality (but have had better) but the focaccia bred and sides to the sea food was really good. A bit slow service in the evening as well.

After a windy and cloudy day of May, we decide to eat some seafood at a beach terrace and this one was a great choice. The clams in white wine in Portuguese style and shrimps in Dutch style were great! Very good choice Meijer Aan Zee for food , location and stuff.Bon appetit!

This restaurant sits on the beach in Zandvoort and has spectacular views where you can sit indoor/outdoor to watch the sunset. Great food, too! At this moment we are closed. We Will open again mid february!
We stopped here on our way to the beach for a lekker bakker koffie. (a quick coffee in Dutch)The coffee was good the croissants were also lovely. We came back for lunch, service was a bit slow as it was very busy. Today has been a beautiful sunny late summer day. Quite unexpected in September. Lunch was a tosti and a tuna sandwich. The tosti looked a little disappointing as it was two slices of bread with cheese. But it was very tasty. The tuna sandwich was great - lots of filling and salad. Nice place by the sea.

Just returned from a lovely meal. We had falafel & chicken bites for a starter. Burger & seabass curry for mains, shared a white chocolate cheese cake for pudding and a bottle of red, the bill came to about â¬72. We really enjoyed everything, the setting is lovely, friendly staff and great food. Fantastic place to watch the sunset. It was very busy, but the food came out quickly.

The "De Meerpaal" is only recommended for lovers of fish and seafood. The food was wonderful, the hosts as well. The owner speaks German and likes to give recommendations for food choice. You can tell that he and his wife (cook) run this restaurant with passion. We would always book a table here again.

We LOVED our visit with Martha and her daughter! Itâs our first day in Zandvoort and we were running late for our evening dinner plans and Martha was so welcoming. She made me and fiancé each a plate of really delicious gyros and made us feel like family. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was wonderful. We so appreciate having run into Martha; someone so warm, with such generosity and happiness to share. She truly lights up the room and makes you feel at home. We canât wait to go back!!!! Zandvoort is lucky to have Martha and her family.
