We were here last May and couldnât wait to come back.This system of ordering 5 times max 5 portions of sushi and other dishes each, is great and good value. We like to eat but are not big eaters, so we never get the max out of it, but other guests do and itâs amusing to see what people around you order and devour.Itâs a system that doesnât exist in my adopted home country Switzerland, but would be greatly welcomed, provided the prices are kept reasonable.Staff very friendly, nice house-wine that goes well with the food, and great choice on the menu. Weâll be back soon!

Every time I have dinner here, it is a pleasure. An italian restaurant, but not of the kind of a simple pizza how delicious that may be, but every time again a delicious 6-8 course surprise diner with a superb wine arrangement that makes the diner sublime.... be sure to have someone with you to drive....

Heerlijk gegeten in knusse ambiance, niet te groot en met persoonlijke aandacht van Rob, de eigenaar. Hij weet wat hij verkoopt en heeft veel wijnkennis. Geen enkel probleem om halve glazen wijn ivm de Bob (zelfs gerechten) te bestellen en het eten is met zorg en vers bereid. Dat proef je. Een pareltje on NH.

We were here for a day, and was staying across the street and saw this place here, which seemed to be busy with people eating. The menu looked good and pricing seemed reasonable so we decided to give it a go! We ordered one of those multi course meals and ate outside as it was beautiful weather! Food was delicious - the vanilla ice cream was so tasty and the waitress informed us they order it from an outside place, and it came with this rich chocolate syrup and it tasted SO good. For appetizer, I had thin slices of watermelon with prosciutto and my main course was fish! Everything was delicious and it was a TON of food. If this place was in my hometown, I'd go here again for a special occasion dinner. This place has an English menu and everyone also spoke good English, so it was easy to communicate. Knowing we were tourists, the male waiter offered to take a picture of me and my boyfriend (we didn't even ask) and towards the end of the dinner, we asked for direction help on getting to the airport. There was a female waitress and she was so kind and helpful and looked up the timing of the train for us and directed us for our early flight for the next morning. We also didn't feel rushed with our dinner even though it was getting late and there was only 1 other person dining. We found the train the next morning and made it safely to the airport - thank you so much!Dear miss, THANK YOU for writing this very, very kind review! Since we know this place is very nice, good location, friendly staff and great food we decided to take my mom here after we visited the Zaanse Schans. She really enjoyed this place and the food. It made our day out just perfect.

This is for tourists who like chinese food. I live near this restaurant and often I order food with this chinese restaurant. The Quality of the food is very good and the price is normal. It is only a little bit far away from the Zaanse Schans.

Every time I visit Zaandam I come here . Nice historic atmosphere. Typically good food.Very limited bar unless you like beer. WaitressSaid âDutch drink beerâ.... you can forget a Manhattan They always had wonderful classic onion soup. Tonight they changed the receipt. Heavy tomato flavoring. Simply horrible. Mentioned it to two servers and manager : they laughed it off. I guessDutch donât complain about crappy soup.

This is most probably the nicest restaurant in Krommenie. They offer great food at a fair price, good wines and a very nice atmosphere. Lunch, dinner, drinks, all is possible. Just the two, with your family, colleagues or friends, you will feel welcome and have a good time at Grand Cafe Atlantic!

Came here with big group for lunch. Place is big and can house a lot of people. Food was excellent, I loved the cod fish, but service is slow. The restaurant is located in a famous attraction in Zaandam. Although service is slow, but to me, it was worth the wait.
