I checked the ratings before coming here but did not read or saw pics. Therefore I was really (positively) surprised by the atmosphere here. Nice singer, they make suggestions for the food courses and are super friendly. Can only highly recommend. Am actually considering to come tomorrow again ;)

Portuguese dishes in Hamburg. This restaurant is within walking distance to the place where the boat we are staying is berthing at the Baumwall. We shared a 3-course meal. It started with the âgambasâ or prawn in garlic, olive oil, and white wine. The second or main was fish with at least 3 kinds of sauces. All absolutely delicious. We were seated outside and itâs perfect in a summer evening. Good service too!!

We chose Deichgraf from the Tripadvisor listings and were not disappointed. It is small but they do not squeeze in more tables than is comfortable. The service is outstanding. Traditional German food is not fancy in presentation, in the way some other cuisines can be. It is more about taste and satisfaction of ones appetite. I feel sure that this establishment has a seasonal menu and this month there was a good choice of fish dishes. We both chose fish and it came suitable portions, with delicious sauces. We shared a taster portion of Labskaus as a starter. I have had it before in more pedestrian form. This was the fine dining version and was good. A good choice of wines including a lot of German estates. A nice touch was the artichoke liquor as a closing drink.

We ordered the mixed seafood plate and calamari with wok vegetables. Really tasty and satisfying. Many different taste choices and also awesome service. The waiter was making some jokes in german that i didnt understand but was really nice and spoke also english. Brough us all fast enough and with a smile. All seemes really fresh and the place in nice in the middle of hamburg.

Chose this restaurant based on the location/ view and rating. My general score is 3,5Most of them are true but the services were not top-notch considering the price level. 2 entryâs + 2 mains + water + bottle of wine was 240â¬.Ill only comment about the things that can be improved.Stuff seams very friendly and helpful but only smiles and no actual helpfulness :) i had to pour from the decanter myself, its pretty difficult while sitting, water same thing, had the raise my hand and called them 3 times for different issues, no eye contact so the âcallâ can be discrete. There were also issues with the mains, beef didnât rest enough and had plate full with liquid and we had to change plate and for the lamb chops, we were not asked about the level of cooking, resulting to medium rare meat. Side dishes looked like fast food ... really disappointed about those.Overall this could be much better ... Service was a bit lazy and disturbed, not full but also not empty but it seem to be a bad day service maybe. Food is okay but a bit to expensive, might come with the location and style of the surrounding restaurants. The Fish plate as well as roll to-go had a lot of mayonnaise and tartar on top and seem to very greasy, so I took a Brathering to stay healthy. Depends on mood and taste...

This was a delicious seafood experience for my family. Three of us are seafood nuts; the 4th abstains vehemently. He enjoyed the burrata appetizer and seafood-free tagliatelle w/butter and Parmesan cheese. The rest of us fought over the tuna tartare appetizer and greedily gobbled up our dorade and salmon mains. One of us ordered the âLiman Mixedâ entree w/3 different filets of fish but he didnât enjoy it as much as he enjoyed his bites of dorade and salmon! The service was kind and generous and we were so glad to have visited a restaurant off the tourist-beaten path.

This restaurant is located adjacent to the lobby area of Hamburg Kempinski Hotel Atlantic.High end cooked daily dish, in an old style, classy atmosphere. Lobby seating.Old school table service, correct and professional.Thursdays they serve Black Angus rump steak, and Tuesdays Wiener schnitzel.Price/value is very ok, a main dish and a soft drink for Euro 15.The restrooms, located towards the conference rooms, are a bit "Agatha Christie" style, and general condition, and surely need a soft renovation, and some replacement, however, this review concerns the Atlantic lunch & restaurant, which was excellent by all means.

In a desperate move to avoid German food whilst in Hamburg, I stumbled upon this place. It was very busy so a good sign and I squeezed in at the bar. The head waiter was most helpful and patient and recommend an array of dishes. I went for 3 (which is more than enough for 1 person as portions are big and they give you bread) and all were excellent. Beer and wine selection also top quality and sampled a bit of both. Place got even busier as evening went on so either book or get in there early, it is clearly a successful and popular place to eat.
