Went with friends for a birthday dinner and had their tasting menu. All courses were superb. Highlights were the oysters with rhubarb mignonette, smoked kahawai, and rock lobster with fermented tomato. The seaweed butter that came with the bread was fantastic with an oyster-like taste. All dishes were fresh with great contrasting flavors. I had their cheese board, their 3 cheeses were superb. Service was professional and knowledgeable. Great wine list. This is what fine dining is all about.

Shed 5 occupies one of the oldest wharf stores in Lambton Harbour. A waterâs edge position and in-house fishmonger contribute to its standing as Wellingtonâs premier seafood restaurant.
Myrtle and I were quite excited to enjoy a meal at Shed 5. We booked our table for two online and all worked smoothly. The service received by Micheal the maître d and Edward our waiter was exceptional, however the food was underwhelming. The ika mata was chopped too finely and my crayfish spaghetti (entree for main) was bland and not a lot of crayfish to be seen or tasted. TheaAâsaspaasparagus
