Whether you are chasing the summer sun or wishing for a warm winter meal, Cowfish is here for you every season. This stylish spot with rustic furnishings pairs steaks, seafood, and sushi with canal views from patio tables. Plenty of boat docking, with cat
This beautiful restaurant is situated by the water with some fantastic views of the boats and water. We came to this place for late lunch or early dinner. They donât take a reservation for two but they said they have a table at the time we called them. We got there and found a valet parking, quite a big parking space here. Then we followed the path walk to the restaurant. Along the way thereâs a nice garden all around. Beautiful decorations inside and outside the restaurant. We had a table right away, by a glass window. We had Brussels sprouts for appetizer. This one was quite salty. I didnât care much for this. Then my entree was the swordfish that was served with corn and couscous. This one is highly recommended! The fish was fresh and the taste was excellent! Hubby had the Cowfish burger. I tried a piece. The fries was good, not greasy, and the burger was pretty good. We adored the ambience. The service was excellent. We had Allegra serving us. She handled the table really well. After the meal we took a walk outside to take some fresh air before going to the valet. We had a nice experience and hope you will too. Cheers!

Spicing up the Long Island waterfont, RUMBA is a special dining spot serving up a unique combination of Island-inspired food, premium handcrafted rum libations, happy staffers, reggae + a low-key vibeâ¦all on the Shinnecock Bay (accessible by boat).
A wonderful, happy place to eat! Great for families, singles, couples. The steaks are great. They are famous for their fish tacos.
We stopped for seafood after visiting Coopers Beach. Our seafood was very good. The patio area is pleasant. Service was friendly. It is not a fast food establishment, but it is worth the short wait for your order. I had grilled mahi mahi. It was excellent. We were not sure they were open, as no one was there eating when we arrived. By the time we left, others stopped to eat. It was after 7 pm, and I believe it is open until 9 pm. I recommend this place. It is right on the main road, but I call it a hidden gem.

We had a spectacular day and evening to enjoy with our friends. We ate at Edgewater and were happy with the service. The scallops were good, stuffed flounder was ok, the salads were fresh. I wish I could say something great about this place, but I canât. Food used to be better I think. Maybe it was just an off day. The view is worth another try.Consistently crafting a perfect meal is truly our passion, Marie, and I'm sorry to see that this wasn't the overall impression you left with after stopping by. From the ingredients to the finished product -- it's all about showcasing the very best of the best. My 5 sisters and I were here Saturday night to celebrate our sisterâs birthday. What a great dinner we had! From the minute we walked in, until the minute we left, we were so well taken care of! Our server, Max, was attentive and took great care of us. They were happy to serve our birthday cupcakes too. We were surprised when we were treated to a complimentary birthday toast of Prosecco! Our meals were all delicious. We will definitely return and would highly recommend Coast Grill.
It's amazing to me that someone who's supposedly a veteran in the restaurant business (as was advertised in all the local newspapers) would open up a restaurant that so clearly wasn't even close to being ready. We were looking forward to trying the Tackle Box for lunch several weeks ago. The restaurant is very conveniently located in a space in Southampton that was previously occupied by the popular (and far better) Little Red. I will commend the new owner on some of the decor changes, including the blue painted bar area, which is quite attractive. However, when we sat at the bar we immediately noted that the chairs were too low for the height of the bar, making eating there both uncomfortable and awkward. When I commented on that to the bartender he said, "Yeah, we've heard that from other customers too."I had a crab salad that had to be among the most uninspired and boring salads I have ever seen---nothing more than some green lettuce with avocado smeared along the bowl and a glob of crab at the top. Not a single other vegetable or garnish in the salad. Pretty tasteless and not at all visually appealing. For this I was charged $22. My friends had burgers (not bad) but accompanied with French fries that tasted as though they had been prepared earlier in the day. Although described as "budget friendly", the prices were not inexpensive, and worse, way out of line with the quality presented. I am very familiar with Hamptons and New York City prices, and willing to pay them, but not for food this average or even below. The atmosphere in the restaurant can best be described as lukewarm and low energy, not at all welcoming or warm. The bartender was polite, but seemed more interested in talking to the hostess (who never once acknowledged us) than in interacting with the customers. Adding to the lack of atmosphere was the fact that the Home Shopping Network appeared on the bar television the entire time we were there. Really? Management seems clueless as to what customers in a restaurant want to experience. Trust me, we didn't go in to be entertained by the staff, but some cordial interaction, particularly at a new restaurant trying to make its name, would have been appropriate. It's possible that part of the problem with our experience was that the restaurant had just opened (and I'm certain that's what management's rationale will likely be), but unfortunately, you get one chance to make a good impression, and this restaurant didn't. If you're not ready, don't open, or certainly don't charge customers top dollar during your "experimental stage." Frankly, we were embarrassed that we'd taken our out of town guest there, and wish we'd have gone instead to any one of a number of far better choices in the area.
Established by a well-respected local fishmonger from Hampton Bays, this shop hit the skids after his departure a few years ago. The owner, who regrets having bought the place (the former Sal's Market), must have made a conscience deciison to make the best of it regardless. After a slippery re-start, bad fish and bad food, Schmidt's Seafood is now back on its feet again. The new gentleman behind the counter knows his stuff and it shows. No "up" again, I trust him to serve me "fresh" fish again.

The sign on the road suggests you a different story, and you might expect to find a full fledged restaurant at the end of the parking lot. But Clamman is a fish market, which happen to cook fish, mainly for take-out. If it doesn't rain (and not to cold), you can take advantage of the pic-nick tables, but no restroom available. The food is good, and incredibly cheap for Southampton.

Calissa will mark the newest venture from the team behind Amali, Il Cantinori, and Periyali in New York City. The conceptual development for the restaurant was inspired by the Greek Aegean Islands and the menu features a variety of small and large shareab
We ordered the calamari, farro salad and sea bass all of which were delicious. The portions were also generous and we did not leave hungry like some other restaurants in the area. I will definitely go back. Thank you for your kind review. I am glad you liked the portion size - it was by design. Should you join us again please let me know - [email protected]

New American Seafood restaurant with land fare and vegetarian options as well in a casual setting with refined service and ann eclectic wine list. Awarded Excellent Reviews by the New York Times and Long Island Newsday and an Award of Excellence by Trip A
The decor is nice, service was fine. My food was a little bland. My wife enjoyed hers. Wine list is ok, but not expansive. A lot of the entree selections were not local. Overall it was fine but doesnât stand out.Good Evening,Thank you for choosing to dine with us recently and for taking the time to share your experience on Trip Advisor. Needless to say, although I sincerely appreciate your level four rating, some of your comments are somewhat concerning. I am a little confused because if you recently dined with us within the last week or so, your comment about not having local entree selections seems somewhat inaccurate in that we had more than half our entree seafood selections coming from local waters: Striped Bass, Black Sea Bass, Skate, Cod, Swordfish, Scallops, not to mention clams and oysters. Was there a particular, local fish you were hoping to find? With regards to your comments on our wine list not being expansive I believe right now we have over 250 wine selections, which I think is a substantial list compared to most, especially for a restaurant our size. Again, may I kindly ask if there was a particular wine you might have been searching for that we did not have? Lastly, and most importantly, I am sincerely sorry that you felt your food was a little bland. May I ask what you ordered so that I can look into what may have happened? In closing, I sincerely appreciate your kindness in your rating but what greatly appreciate a little more feedback so that we can learn from your experience and try to improve to a 'stand out' restaurant. With that said, I hope to be able to cook for you again in the near future and make amends for any of your comments above. Please ask for me, as I am always in my kitchen.Sincerely,Doug GulijaChef/Owner
