I stayed here with friends: we waited 1h for a dish of tortellini. Tortellini were good but it's not difficult to find them good in this area. After this we ordered potatos: very basic and cold.Service: below the acceptable level.Suggestion: stay away!dear sir we enjoy for all that you think , i hope you visit our trattoria when there are less off one hundred people .

We arrive and request a table for 8, and by the river. The first waitress canât speak English. She tries another and he tries to find a table for us. He was one of two waiters who could speak somewhat English. He then consults with a third, and then at last a fourth, who cannot speak one single syllable in English, and she escorts us to the table. The table was far away from the other guests, but luckily they understood it had to be outside. We then wait at least 20 minutes to place our order, and eventually after reminding THREE waiters to take our order, our order is placed. Since we had to wait, we indulge in the bread at the table, even though is it very dry and has probably been laying there for days. But we soon discover that it is molten!!!! The waiter sees it, but does not apologise. She just removes it from the table, never to return with fresh bread. The food is okay; we had burgers and pizza. The burgers are though charred and severely burnt and VERY VERY VERY dry. Afterwards we decide to pay at the register, because we just wanted to leave. We discover on the bill that they have charged us with 2 euros per person (thatâs 16 euros!!!!!), for something called âcover percentageâ. We therefore complain and explain all the other issues, and he rewards us with a 8 euros discount. That is not even enough to cover the bogus âcover percentageâ of 16 euros!!!!! VERY VERY VERY VERY BAD SERVICE AND I WOULD NEVER EAT THERE AGAIN. TOURISTS STAY AWAY!

Came twice. Very pleasant location. Not overrun (December 2017). Polite owner and waiter. Interior far above expectation. Food traditional and very well made. Plenty of really cooked dishes, not the usual panfried âquickiesâ. Wine choice wide. The best eating place in the area.
Located in the center of Borghetto, one of the most beautiful and characteristic villages of Italy, within the prestigious Regia Rosetta Royal Rooms, La Chiusina is characterized by a kitchen between water and land. Of concept and fact. The river Mincio l
La Chiusina is a very welcoming and yet sophisticated place where everything, from great food to fine wine and modern art, falls into place perfectly to create a warm atmosphere. The menu offers a variety of creative dishes (grouped by âseaâ, âlakeâ and âgardenâ) which have great appeal, both on paper - and on the plate. The food is traditional but with interesting modern twists. Bonus points for using local produce and integrating vegetables in creative ways.We thank you for the kind words you have dedicated to us. Happy to have satisfied your needs.

I really love and cherish this restaurant where I use to go with my parents when we really want to splurge. Quality is over the top with a large selection of traditional dishes, the bill could be expensive but food is really great and everything is home made.

We don't remember the number of times (pleasure or business) we stopped in the beautiful village of Borghetto sul Mincio and another reason is the romantic Ristorante La Cantina, which you find at the Hotel Faccioli in the very heart of Borghetto s.M. We have never been disappointed with the fine local food served by the owner Silvia ( restaurant & hotel are witness of the enviable Italian family business) and her staff. The prices are very honest and this cosy restaurant with the amazing wine collection will add your compliments to those of the many Italien guests that favoured it. Being in the area we would highly recommend a visit to another gem of the delightful countryside - SOLVERINO. another witness of Italian history , Piazza Castello - the Rocca with the impressive memorial of Henry Dunant who founded, after the battle of Solverino in 1859 the Internation Red Cross. By the way, from the BORGHETTO you may walk or cycle, all along the quiet Mincio River leading to lake Garda - you will enjoy it after the fine meal of the Ristorante LA CANTINA. Anna & Jean

Consigliato.

This restaurant we picked due to good reviews on other sources. The interior looks a little dull, but the people working were very kind and although the restaurant had not yet opened we were welcomed in and served with some beverages. We had read that the Tortellini is great here, so we ordered that and have to admit that this was the best Tortellini I have ever had! It was fresh made with delicious meat filling ... just in one word awesome! As main course we had the steak and fish, both were also great. We just can recommend this place, and found it rather low rated to what we experienced. And as lots of locals popped in for dinner, this must be a good place (always a good indicator).

The restaurant is situated almost in the middle of the river. You can sit outside by the river or inside with air conditioning an no mosquitos! The menu is good value. There is a huge range of aperitifs and cocktails from â¬3-5, including non-alcoholic ones. We had the tortellini tasting menu. Portions are the perfect size to enjoy the food. The waiting staff are very friendly and spoke great English to me (and helped me when I attempted Italian!) explaining how the dishes were made. All in all a lovely evening.

I was with a group of 6 friends in Verona for three days and we were given a recommendation to go to Valeggio Sul Mincio for a nice dinner a few kilometres away from Verona. Went there totally unplanned and found this restaurant. The place is lovely, fresh and welcoming. The kitchen is great and the staff are ever so welcoming. The menu is well explained and the food tastes even better than it looks like on the menu ! And the desserts ...oooh, they are to die for ! Will surely return on my next trip to Italy.
