Find out what Seafood restaurants to try in Ustica. Thanks to its volcanic history, the island of Ustica offers awesome opportunities for deep diving. Notable sites include Scoglio del Medico and Grotta dei Gamberi. Snorkelers can explore Grotta Azzurra, Grotta Verde, and Grotta delle Barche. There are plenty of dive centers that can offer guided trips to all of these watery hotspots. Once you dry off, check out the prehistoric ruins of a large village that dates to the Bronze Age. Houses in the main square are painted with colorful murals, giving the whole village an artsy vibe.

There is not much places to eat when you are on Ustica island. But you definitely can not miss Pizza la Piazza. Especially when you are with kids. The location is very strategic. But the working hours is only from 8pm till midnight. There is delivery service but I did not tried it. A pizza menu is overwhelming! Choose a Pizza con mozzarella Buffalo, it is awesome! You can also add any extra toppings you like. Pizza was one the best I ever had! Crunchy base and juicy filling. Simple and delicious. The kebab is also good but be careful. It comes with a mayo and salsa sauce. They put it on top of the kebab. Better to ask for the sauce separately. Good luck!

We got here thanks to a tip from 1 of the 3 cab drivers on Ustica, so we expected a good local place with great fish. We got seated by a nice waiter but then waited a while before we were able to order our food. We ordered different courses but got them all the same time. Plus the mixed grilled fish (â¬18) was very disappointing, bad taste and only 3 pieces. We expected more due to the high price.

I had good expectations based on reviews and I've been very disappointed. Actually, most of our party has been so. Pizza is really average with a thick crust while the cooking was inconsistent. I had an octopus salad which was unacceptably hard to chew and dull in taste. Then I had swordfish as main course and again a very flat taste, short in salt and refinement. So far the worst experience in the island.

I went to L`Isolotto with my friend who used to live and work in Ustica.Sat outside as it was a nice pleasant evening. The seafood was fantastic. The fish fresh and cooked to perfection. That was awesome. Went there again few nights later and had a pizza. It was so so nice that I almost licked the plate. Thanks for two lovely meals.

On the harbor with a pizza appetizers at a restaurant with a lot of atmosphere and landscape. Good pizza oven though but what is really good is the appetizer of sea with a few courses but tasty.

I don't know what the other reviewers ate but my meal. Antipasto locale and local fish for dinner was barely mediocre. Wine and everything was very overpriced. I had a better meal for lunch at a quarter of the price. Staff was rude as well and I am used to neopolitans.

Within the main square and is very welcoming. Lovely menu with delicious choices. We don't speak Italian but the owner helped us choose. Recommend visit on evening and try local wine hibiscus.

I was with my husband for a romantic night out and we went to Carruba with no reservation. It's a tiny and lovely place spot just outside of the center, but not quite far, in an old stone 's street. The businnes is run by a young girl of the island, Martina, and the stuff, all young,is pretty much as a family. We were attendend by her sister with so much attention and knowledge about the plates and the local products. Food was simply delicious. Well-cook and fresh the fish. We even have dessert, ricotta cake, homemade like just a grandma knows how to do it. And for end this amazing night a digestive "amaro " made also by the guys. The check was honest. So stunning night. We will come back absolutely.

Small restaurant, perched almost on the top of the stairs that lead to the central square. Good views on the sea and on the harbour from the terrace, but we didn't come here for the views. We had been recommended this pace by other sailors, and we were not disappointed. The chef, Francesco, is a real chef, clearly with a lot of experience (although he is very young) and a passion for this island and the raw material that it offers to his cuisine. Not a huge selection on the menu (normally a good sign), and true quality in all the servings, and excellent advice from the chef himself and his staff (who turns out to be his sister and nephew). We'll come back.
