This is an extensive and popular restaurant and the formula works well. We got a table in the furthest corner - which suited us fine! To usher in the first evening of our short stay in Italy we chose a shared plate Ventaglio di Salumi which gave us a great flavor of local meats and cheeses. For Secondi dishes we diverged between Pappardelle with aubergines and radishes & another pasta dish with Vongole. Our waiter introduced us to our first taste of Trentinoâs fine red wine Teroldego Rotaliano. With water, cafes, etc, our meal cost less than â¬65.00. The service was pleasant and brisk.

On my visit to this pretty town in the valley I was told this was a great place to eat... And it truly was!Located right next to the Cathedral and the heart of Trento, "Ai Vicoli" is a great mix of modern (with a very modern looking interior) and antique (with the location, the old interior and the traditional cuisine). The prices are a little high (may be because of the location) but the food is great and so is the service.Recommended!

Our best dining experience in Trento. We were most impressed by the quality of the sushi. So much so that we went back the following night for dinner. The wait staff are to be commended - very attentive and friendly. The food was delicious- some of the best Japanese we've had in a long time. A highlight of our time in Trento. Many thanks :)

This restuarant was attached to our hotel. Never very busy while we stayed. The food was good: two of us liked our dish, the third thought it was so so.

I was really looking forward to a meal in this restaurant because of my love for fish and the great reviews. Sadly, though, it was just average. We started off with the "sinfonia di antipasti" and a clam spaghetti dish. The "sinfonia`' is made up from 7 different (large) 'bites' of starters. Well, the only notable of the seven was the fried mullet - the greatest disappointment was the fish parmigiana, where really the only taste I could detect was the bechamelle sauce. It was a corner piece, so perhaps the condiment had not got there, all the same it was quite unsatisfactory. The clam spaghetti were also a bit of a letdown - true, it was more clams than spaghetti, always a good sign, but the taste just wasn't there, and the spaghetti were either over cooked, or of a lesser quality than I am used to. Reported the overlooking, but got no comments back.We then had a rather large 'lampuga' fish for two, which had a great consistency, though again a bit of a letdown on flavour. Another somewhat disconcerting fact was that we were served an already cleaned one (why?), rather than the one in the display tray. Some people rave about the place, so good for them, but not a place I will be returning to.

Restaurant-Sushibar-Take Away-Delivery service
Been there on a Wednesday night. Not too crowded and there was a nice soft music that made you think about a Milan sushi bar. Moreover, all the staff is not chinese or japanese. There is a wide selection of dishes: from traditional sushi (nigiri, maki and so on) to hot dishes like fried noodles or rice.I shared a boat of a selection of 60 pieces with a friend of mine. The taste was great, best sushi and sashimi I have ever tried so far but we ended up paying 77 euros for that (69 for the boat+2 euros for a bottle of water+ 3 euros each for the table)

Al Gusto is a nice alternative to the hustle and bustle of Trento's city center. It's only about a kilometer's walk from Piazza Fiera, located near one of the tributaries to the Adige River -- a lovely area frequented by many of the locals. Al Gusto is a small home-style restaurant where you can see the activities of the chef as you're waiting for your food. The atmosphere is simple but cozy -- a very good if you desire a private date. The prices are comparable to other sit-down restaurants in Trento. The food itself is simple, yet flavorful and the portions are reasonable. My wife ordered their house dish, which was braised chicken with a slightly smokey flavor. I ordered the "Mix di Pesce" (lightly fried calamari). I was surprised to see how many calamari they served. The calamari were lightly breaded and seasoned, which allowed the natural flavors to run their course.I've seen more fanciful food presentations, but again, the simplicity of the restaurant is much appreciated. If you want to see the quieter side of Trento yet stay within walking distance of the center, Al Gusto is an excellent choice.

No wonder Locanda Margon has 2 Michelin stars. The dishes are exquisite, presented with extreme cure to the detail and all paired with the unique Trento DOC sparkling wine. Highly recommend it!

The local Trentino cuisine, with its heritage of taste, fine ingredients and tradition, has been passed down from generation to generation in the small mountain villages and isolated valleys. Villa Madruzzo Restaurant proposes a series of traditional dish
The rooms in Belvedere building are spacious, clean and the even numbered rooms have a nice view on the mountains. We stayed at Villa Madruzzo for 5 days over Christmas. The restaurant is open for clients on Christmas and serves tasty Italian food. The local specialty is steak tartare, prepared at the diner table. It was recommended by locals. The spaghetti with gambaâs is a good âprimoâ and most antipasti are excellent. Breakfast buffet is really good and there is a lot of choice. Fresh Italian coffees are included.Dear Rose, thank you for taking the time to tell us about your experience at Villa Madruzzo. We are all very happy to hear that our staff and service met your needs and expectations and that you fully appreciated the quality of our restaurant. We look forward to welcoming you back to the hotel in the near future. Best Regards
