This was a nice surprise. Three courses for â¬35 and a last minute reservation on a Sunday night. Nice and busy, good choices, very pleasant staff. Food excellent and very well prepared and presented. They also have a good selection of 'finer' wines with small markup so you can try something more interesting. What a damn good idea! One small criticism was with the kangaroo, which whilst very tasty, would have been better (in my opinion) with more of a contrasting sauce, as it is quite gamey and the mushroom sauce was also very earthy and as such there was little contrast. Overall though, very good indeed.

Altogether, the balance is not too positive. After a very good entrée (walnut filled ravioli with shellfish), we waited an hour for the main course. I had pidgeon with ox tail and braised vegetables, which was fairly good, but not remarkable. Then a good round of cheese and coffee. Sharing a rather average bottle of average with my friend, the bill went to 108 euros each - by far too much for the quality. I found the decor somehow overcharged.

Envie de goûter à la cuisine asiatique et plus particulièrement chinoise, nous considérons que c est une bonne adresse à TOURNAI. Accueil très sympathique de la patronne qui a pris le temps d'échanger sur la cuisine, son pays et tout et tout... On a envie d y retourner. Etablissement très bien tenu, et la clim était un plus en cette journée de canicule.
