Been coming to Tolo for many years now but always walked past this restaurant, mainly because it usually looked empty. This gave us the impression it was not very good. However, on this occasion a waiter persuaded us to take a table downstairs where all the tables had a sea view and was in fact much busier. This turned out to be a good decision as the menu was much more comprehensive and interesting than most of the others around who all offer much the same menus. The service was good with English spoken if required, a good standard of cooking and variety, and ample portions, all at a reasonable price. We returned the next night with different friends and found the standard consistent.

Every day fresh fish from my husband fishboat and homemade fresh seafood!! On the beach with free sunbed and umbrella for customers! Thank you.
This fish tavern is situated on the beach frnt of Tolo, just a whisper away from the sea. It serves fresh fish at its veranda (overlooking the sea) and arrordable prices. It also offers free sunbeds and umbrellas for their customers just after they finish their meal.

For romantic people a dinner here will definitely be something unforgettable. Sometimes there are music evenings, and while you're eating somebody else is singing from other Greek songs. Tasty food. Try seafood.

Dining at Maria’s starts with an incredible view, followed by some of the best seafood I’ve ever tried! We received excellent service, seated right next to the ocean view. To start, we shared the fig salad, unbeatable homemade tzazkiki, and the fried feta with honey and sesame seeds (a combination I never knew existed, but now I’ll make sure to tell everyone to try it). I ordered the seafood risotto after it was recommended by one of the waiters and there were no regrets. Extremely generous portion sizes combined with great service, cozy atmosphere, and more than reasonable prices makes this restaurant a must try when visiting Tolo. I would even recommend making the drive down if you’re staying in Nafplio nearby.

Having wanting to try one of the restaurants on the beach we decided to try here as it was the busiest. Unfortunately the staff where abrupt verging on rude. We where left with warm glasses and a bottle of beer that needed opening, think they expected us to use our teeth. With an Eye roll they opened it for us, everyone else seemed to have bread delivered to their table but again we had to ask for some, the spaghetti bolagnaise was tasty enough and our 2 children shared it as the portion was large. I had Lamb kleftico and it was very greasy, the grease pooled at the bottom so I had to move everything to one side, to be fair the lamb melted of the bone though, our other main dish was prawns and was ok, not a big portion. Overall we where disappointed with the restaurant and wouldn’t go back, there are far nicer places and much friendlier. It’s a shame

Which one has been named after the other one, it cannot be questionable. Romvi is an uninhabited island in the Tolo bay probably bathed there for millions of years in the rays of the Mediterranean sun. If once would disappear due to some misfortune, the view would be much more inferior on the terraces of the seaside restaurants. Romvi, the restaurant is opposite its namesake, and its location is as attractive as the delicious dishes that they are serving. We regularly go to Tolo, and we already have our favorite places. One of these is Romvi, where we eat lunch or dinner every year and never get disappointed. We always had perfect service and palatable food. Now, I’d like to write about something different than their food. One night, when we arrived, several members of the staff were busy with one of the guests, who was overwhelmed by something. Whether it was booze or a drug, I don't know, but the person was sick as a dog. We had to walk around her table, but the staff treated the unpleasant situation very discreetly and professionally. We were escorted cautiously to our table, and the waiter tried to cover the very unpleasant sight as much as possible. At the same time saved our appetite and the dignity of the sick guest. Whatever they did, was useful because, as I saw from the corner of my eyes, the guest who a few minutes before was almost unconscious soon came to herself. She seemed to be in expert hands. The restaurant was running smoothly, and if we didn't have to walk next to her table, we wouldn't have noticed anything from the embarrassing case. In my thoughts, I congratulated to Romvi. Their manners are equal to their food.

We're coming to Tolo mostly every year, but somehow never visited Arcadia. In this summer we realised that mistake, and had dinner in this charming water-front restaurant. We probably didn't go there so far because from the street can't be judged on what a nice place Arcadia is.If you survive the descent down on the spiral staircase, you've already arrived at the restaurant. Having dinner with your feet almost dipping into the sea and, and when you look up, Romvi, the enchanting little island is enthralling you, will definitely add to the dining experience. My partner ordered Swordfish Souvlaki and I Grilled Shrimp. What was a little disappointing was the boiled vegetable. In Australia, I got used to steamed vegetables, which are still crunchy, closer to raw than cooked, and then this very soft cooked vegetable was not only strange but unpleasant for me. I realised it's partly my fault because I didn't know the local cooking habits. Next time I'm going to ask for a raw vegetable side dish. Our waiter was very energetic and willing, we couldn't have wished for better service. Prices were right for the location.

Ormos offers a varied menu featuring Greek cuisine. It is inspired by local ingredients and changes to reflect the seasons.
Nice restaurant on the Tolo beach. The tables are on sand and it is very pleasant in the evening to sit and watch the sea and nearby island. The food is good but portions are pretty small. Afterwards we learned that his Is not a proper restaurant but more cafe/wine house. Nevertheless, the food was good: smoked herring, cod with garlic sauce, tzatziki, and wine of course. Next door tavern was full –as it is a proper tavern that foods big portions… But again we were not disappointed with the quality of food, it was fresh and tasted well!

I’ve been coming here yearly since 2010. Every year the quality increases. I’m pleasantly surprised by the quality and standards of the menu. Have a look at the photos they speak for themselves. Golden beach (Stavros) knows how to look after his long lasting customers. The Greece ultimate food experience = sitting , drinking and eating overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. It should be on everyone’s bucket list.

Just had a great lunch here! Fresh fish (tsipoura, sargos) was amazing! We also had lachanodolmades which were great! The owner is really friendly and the atmosphere is great! We were offered free fresh fruit and desert with ice cream after our meal! Definitely the best meal we’ve had in and around nafplio!
