We came for dinner. The service was friendly and generous. But even the simple dishes were too difficult. For example salad caprese, the tomatoes were unripe, still green and yellow. The pasta we ordered was microwaved. The lighting was very bright, comparable to a hospital. The background noise consisted of the noise of the freezer and the television.

We've seen the sign for a year and never tried it. Finally one Sunday we did and what a feast it was. We both had the tasting menu and we loved all the selections. We had the local prosecco which was also nice and very reasonably priced. With the tasting and "primi" selected, we feasted on 9 plates and were there for three hours! Such fun! Try the champagne risotto and anything with prawns. All yummy! Service slow to order at first but then there was little time in between plates. We can't wait to go back!!

Local friends invited us to dinner here and we are thankful for the introduction. It's a new favorite! The space is gorgeous. Lit softly but adequately with arches and vaulted ceilings, tastefully decorated, the interior is memorable. The wood tables are large and the space is laid out in a way that makes it equally good for couples or groups. The stemware, table linens and silverware are quality without being overly fussy or pretentious. It is an immediately welcoming space. The service was professional and friendly. We started with the antipasti, which was a combination of hot and cold seafood dishes prepared in a creative and delicious way. The tapas sized plates kept arriving, each one better than the last. It was enough to make an entire meal! For secondi our group ordered: the polenta with ciauscolo, which was divine. The ahi tuna, which was perfect and fresh, and octopus, which was plated beautifully in a local wine reduction and was also sublime. The chef is from Milan so there are a few Milanese hints scattered in the menu and he does amazing things with local ingredients. There is enough tradition to satisfy someone looking for local cuisine, but also enough diversity to tempt someone who is looking for something a little different. There is an outdoor garden area out back in good weather. The restaurant is tucked away down the street from the main piazza and bell tower. Take a left facing the bell tower and walk down, it will be on your left. I definitely recommend. It was a memorable meal in a gorgeous space.

We lunched here and loved it. Highly seafood-centric, which we appreciated. We ordered a half-lobster and it was truly amazing in appearance and taste. The service was friendly. The space is well-lit and has a nice atmosphere. I think it would make a good date place. The prices were reasonable given the quality of the food.

Fish Bar in Tolentino. Typical recipes, modern, fusion. Fishburger and lobster roll, tasty tacos, fish and chips, fried and raw fish in chevice.
Wandering Tolentino and looking for lunch, I found this very nice place, which was fortunately open in January. Itâs not big, maybe room for two dozen, and has a nice, upscale, modern look. The owners couldnât have been more friendly. They were attentive but not too much so.I found the food to be excellent. I started with a risotto with a mixture of seafood, but not too much seafood to overpower the taste of the other components. It was obviously made for me, after I ordered it, as it took the requisite 25 minutes for it to be prepared. My secondo was perfectly prepared octopus: crisp on the outside, but still tender inside. Iâm a big octopus fan, and this is some of the best Iâve had. They offer âsushi tacosâ, which I wanted to try, but was too full. Next time. They have a nice wine list, about a dozen choices, from Marche and other parts of Italy. This will go into my regular rotation of local places.
