We arrived before our reservation time , got seated with no problem. Service was really great. The location is in the heart of the beautiful Woodlands. The atmosphere was casual & comfortable, real ocean theme . Drinks were well made & food came out very quickly. We had seats outside on their patio. It was a great night with temps in the high 60âs, cool view. The place has a feel all itâs own , capturing the ocean feel amongst all the trees! Well done! Iâll be back with more time to spend! The food was 5 star. I recommend the scallops! - No room for desert (this time).

My wife and I had a gift certificate to use at Fish and Camaron so we took advantage of that this past Friday (March 10, 2017) evening. I had put the address into my GPS to navigate to the restaurant. When the GPS said that we had arrived, we could not locate the restaurant. We actually drove passed the restaurant, then turned around and my wife spotted it. It is located in a "strip" center with a couple of other medical field related business. It was very hard to find; however, we found it and are glad we did. The restaurant itself is very small with limited seating, but please don't let that stop you. And I will say, the Chips were very good! They almost looked like fried plantain chips. They were not greasy or hard to eat at all. Sometimes you get chips that act like you are biting into leather, but not these. You can also determine and choose what Salsa(s) you want with your chips. For starters, we ordered Chips and Salsa and the Vuelve A La Vida cocktail. The Chips were very good! They almost looked like fried plantain chips. They were not greasy or hard to eat at all. Sometimes you get chips that act like you are biting into leather, but not these. You can also determine and choose what Salsa(s) you want with your chips. The Vuelve A La Vida cocktail consisted of a cup full of your choice of Ceviche or Shrimp (which ours came with both) with their signature cocktail sauce, chopped tomatoes, cilantro, diced avocado, and olive oil. This came recommended by a friend and it was REALLY GOOD!I could not decide what I wanted for my entree, so I went with what my wife ordered for herself, the Fish Sandwich and I am so glad that I did!! This was one of THE BEST fish sandwiches I have ever eaten from anywhere! It was simple; two fried fish pieces (more like patties but not rounded, your choice of fried or grilled) served on a warm bun with lettuce and tomato. I asked one of the workers when she walked by what type of fish they use and she said Swai. The fish was so flaky and tender, it just melted in your mouth with each bite. Both pieces were thick; however, was not tough at all to the bite. Fish and Camaron may be known for their tacos, but you cannot go wrong with the Fish Sandwich. It was DELICIOUS!!The restaurant is a drive for us; however, was well worth it!! If you are out in the area or live in The Woodlands and have not tried Fish and Camaron, then what are you waiting for? You won't be disappointed!

My wife and I went for lunch and left a bit disappointed. This was our first time weâd visited the woodlands location and the food was good as weâve come to expect from Houston location, however the ambiance was very different. We had a table beside the tills and I was sat looking at untidy shelves with rolls of receipts and cleaning products etc. On top of that the staff stood around there laughing and joking amongst themselves which I found quite offputting as it was so close to our table. Maybe a take on the overall attitude but most of the staff didnât seem to be particularly interested and had their shirts hanging out etc.My wifeâs food arrived well before mine which is a real pet hate of mine, either one person starts by themselves or the other person sits with nothing while the other eats. Not the end of the world but I certainly didnât leave feeling that it was a particularly good experience despite the food being good. If I do go back it definitely wonât be for lunch, I do suspect they probably up their game in the evenings in terms of service.Rudhachs,The Blue Fish Restaurants would like to thank you for sharing your experience at The Blue Fish Woodlands. This is NOT seafood! Roux was burnt! Daiquiris were filled to the top with ice! When asked could they hold the ice, the waitress told me, then there would be NO alcohol. I guess that was a clear answer as to me not actually getting a daiquiri but ice and water. I ended up not eating anything at all
