We have dined here a couple times for lunch meetings and itâs always been delicious. Our party enjoyed the halibut, fish tacos and a shrimp salad. The warm sourdough bread is nice before and during the meal. Our waitress, Michelle, was awesome! Itâs nice to take clients to a spot that you donât have to worry about the service! Stop by the seafood market when you leave for treats to cook at home.

I prefer only to post positive reviews but feel compelled to warn others anout Meritage at Callaway in Temecula. Outside they advertised brunch and live music and my 10 year-old kids were hungry so I thought to give it a try. At the giftshop I was told I could choose from 3 pizzas from Meritage which could take up to 20 minutes. It was almost 3 and I ordered the carne asada pizza. 30 minutes later there was no sign of pizza so we went to the Meritage and asked for an ETA from a waitress who said she would check and then disappeared. After 10 minutes a manager asked if I was being helped and I inquired about the pizza...after he disappeared for a few, he returned to report there was a miscommunication and giftshop shouldnt have made order but they were going to start making the pizza. I politely told the man the food was for my children who were very hungry. I didnt choose to order in the restaurant so my noisy kids wouldnt disturb others in the upscale location. I had to ask for some crackers or bread to appease them while we waited and was given a few slices. I returned to our outdoor table and waited...and waited...and waited. The store employee appologized for the restaurant and brought over a box of crackers and cheese dip and said he asked for 2 pizzas to compensate. I said that wasnt necessary and thanked him while we waited...my daughter finally went back to the restaurant at 4:20 and was told it would b another 5 minutes. Another 15 minutes passed so my daughter returned to find the pizza in a box but no one delivering it so she brought the one small pizza to us at 4:40. Look at the picture and judge for yourself whether you would be happy with the thrown together pizza that took over 1 hour and 40 minutes to receive. Disgusted, I showed other customers who were equally appauled. I spoke to Don at the restaurant who tried to make this go away with a gift certificate or bottle of wine. I told him I would never b back and didnt want money or wine..but promised I would warn others. It's one thing to make a mom wait but it irks me more that youd do this to children. Maybe he isnt a parent... Maybe we should have ordered Pizza Hut and had it delivered...it would have been much faster and from the looks of what they served, tastier too.

We wanted to try something new at Pechanga and Umi looked great! Made reservations thru OpenTable for 8:00PM Saturday. Everything was outstanding and we tried a lot! of variety! Sure beats Blazing Noodles and the Food Court.
