We're both from Ireland and the chef personally took us through options of the menu as he spoke English and we have little italian. One option was a tasting menu so we could try a seafood puglia tasting menu. In total we had 5 anti pasto dishes ranging from octopus, sea bass, cod and tuna. Along with 2 different pasta dishes with mussels and clams. 2 glasses of white wine each and 1 large bottle of sparkling water. The food was exceptional and literally out of this world. I would highly highly recommend this restaurant and if you get the option for the chefs tasting menu, the chef will not disappoint.

A surprisingly elegant (but relaxed!) restaurant given the location. We booked this place based on a recommendation, and it was really fantastic. Stunning seafood, friendly helpful service, good wine, and reasonable prices. It was very quiet the night we were there, and they had a power cut (briefly) - which added to the fun. Lovely spot for dinner with friends in the heart of the historic centre of Taranto.

Been here several times during the same week. Excellent food and service. Several dishes deserve to be mentioned: antipasti to die for (from pure' with herbs to prosciutto e mozzarella), homemade pasta made based on fresh produce available from local farmers, great quality meat. Antonio charms clients and contributes to a great atmosphere! A must in Taranto!

While wandering around the old town on the Island with my wife looking for somewhere to stop for a drink and something to eat, we came across this great little place in a small square just by the sea.We sat down and were made feel welcome straight away.No Menu, just good honest food which was really tasty.I had beers, my wife had white wine.We had a great time chatting (even with my near total lack of Italian) with the folks who were there, and the owner made us feel so welcome. The cost for the meal and drinks we had was incredibly good value and I'm just sorry that we didn't have more time to call back again to get to know them better. Thanks to all who made us feel so welcome......

I rarely eat at the same place twice when Iâm on holidays but this was one of those exceptions, the food was just so good and the service is great From the menu i chose the vongole, the grilled squid and the grilled fresh fish heaven, if youâre in the area you must stop by and make sure you book your table in advance as it can get quite busy :) big thanks to the owners and hope you make it to Mauritius

Restaurant & pizza
In august my wife and I have visited the restaurant 4 times. Excellent food, good wine and (italian) beer. The waiters are very good. Next year when we are in Italy we will return.

SUD is a place with strong character, where a refined cuisine, an amazing bar and a lot of music meet each other. Design environment with patio and location for dj sets. Instinctive but rigorous cuisine with dishes that are extremely balanced and amazing
I had calamari tempura with wasabi and it was fresh and well cooked. As a second course "spigola" sandwich, just perfect. Desert "ricotta mantecata" it's basically better than a deconstruct Sicilian cannoli.Wines are many and well assorted as well as beers and cocktails drinks.Definitely a good choice in Taranto.

Found this place by accident. Set in the cellar which was lovely and cool. Didn't see a menu and we speak little Italian, so it was pretty much guess work and a lot of patience on behalf of the waitress who was very accommodating. She brought various fish from the kitchen, etc, and she helped find some meat for our son. Otherwise it was all fish, freshly caught and simply cooked. Delicious!

As it was lunch time and the place a little bit far from the center, We were alone (me and my wife) at that lovely restaurant. Actually our feeling not beeing at a restaurant but more at home. They cooked, we ate , everyting was exellent. Not only meals, but staff (actually owners) was candid, sympathetic. So thank you giada, thank you costandino. We ate very good fish menu.
