We went early on Saturday and was able to get a table. We had the shrimp cocktail and piggy river rafts for appetizer. Both were good. I had the crab cakes and potato au gratin for dinner. My friends had the steamer pot. Nice atmosphere and good service.

Our son treated us to dinner at one of our favorite restaurants. It was his first visit but wonât be his last. We had sirloin steak (son), ahi tuna (me) and grouper (wife) and all were excellent. Calimari appetizer was also good. Excellent server (Lisa) was attentive but not obtrusive. Very nice evening.

Stopped here for dinner and we were there a little before the dinner rush. By the time we left the line was almost wrapped around the building. Service was fast and we had our meal super quick. All food is fried. I had stuffed shrimp they were large and tasty. Hubby had flounder and a huge amount of shrimp. Coleslaw was good not too sweet and no onions. Hush puppies were better than most. Overall service and food was very good. On the negative side the plate glass windows right by the tables were dirty and really needed to be cleaned. There was quite a few flies which was a little bothersome.

The Isles, the area's only oceanfront restaurant and Tiki bar, proudly features fine cuisine using only the freshest regional ingredients. From private romantic dinners and family gatherings to banquets, wedding receptions, and corporate events, our seren
This restaurant has the perfect location as the only dinner restaurant on the ocean but has horrible overpriced food. I have lived on Ocean Isle for over 15 years and watched this restaurant change back and forth from good to bad through the years and it is definitely on the bad swing. I was embarrassed to have recommended it to my friends who were visiting. First of all the stairway and elevator to get there from the parking lot is not lit making entry confusing and difficult not to mention dangerous. At 8:00 on a Thursday night in high season it was empty. No wonder. The fish was dry on the grilled seafood platter, the chicken was dry on the quinoa entree, the jambalaya had.no sauce or liquid in it, the scallop Alfredo had very few if any scallops in it. We ordered a nice bottle of wine and the waiter plopped it on the table with two glasses and left. To add insult to injury, the $197 bill was paid and then the waiter followed us out to the entry and said he had made a mistake. He tried to add another $100 to the bill... totally inaccurate. I know he was new as he admitted but really?!?Worst restaurant on Ocean Isle and what a shame. It would be so nice to have a good restaurant on the ocean.

Come enjoy all our fresh seafood favorites! Established in 1981 as Bill's Seafood Market proving only the freshest local seafood. In 1990, Crabby Oddwaters Restaurant was added to the property providing those same fresh seafood items from our market. Crab
There are 2 parts to this business, Bill's fish market downstairs and Crabby Oddwatters upstairs. We went to both during our week long stay. The fish market isn't bad although the folks working there were either knowledgeable but unfriendly, or friendly but not very knowledgeable. Their crab cakes are $5 each and delicious. Make sure you buy the side of remoulade sauce for an extra $1. The fish seems fresh and they also have live blue crabs that they will steam for you. The restaurant is not good. It is very tired and worn looking. I only ordered food to go but it wasn't good. Soggy fried shrimp and soggy fries. Only the hush puppies were good. There are much better places in the area to spend your money.

We stopped for an early dinner and 3 of us had the shrimp & grits. They were some of the best I have ever had. Very flavorful and with an abundance of shrimp.

What a wonderful evening. Drove from wilmington to meet Cousins for dinner. Atmosphere was very friendly. All four of us order different types of food. Prime Rib, Steak,Salmon and Chicken. Everyoneâs dinner was cooked to perfection! The house salad is just amazing. Most importantly our server Andrew F. was spectacular! Prompt, professional and friendly service! What a great night!

For $19.95 I received 4 grilled scallops and a 4 oz grilled black bass, french fries, cole slaw, 3 hush puppies. Fresh tasty seafood but they can surely increase the seafood on the plate. Without the french fries, cole slaw, and hush puppies it was more like eating an appetizer. Food was great but price should have been $11.95 and the service was excellent.

Casual Restaurant Serving Calabash Style Seafood, Southern Style Meat & Vegetables, Sandwiches & Salads
A long time ago we made it a point to make a regular visit to the couple of waterside seafood restaurants in Calabash. Now it's so commercialized there that the true Calabash recipes have gotten lost - except at Gravy Southern Eatery. Enormous portions, perfectly cooked, and true southern sides. Good Calabash seafood is lightly breaded and not greasy - just like Gravy. But be prepared to wait to get a table. It's the most popular price around. Don't miss it. Oh and we're told the peach cobbler is crazy good....

In 1978, C.W Hughes, Jr., who owned a paving company, and his wife Allison, a retired nurse, bought a small grill, motel and marina previously called Gregory's. It was located at the mouth of the Shallotte River and the Intracoastal Waterway. The grill ha
The view is so good itâs distracting! But it also helps you relax and sip your wine just a bit slower. The food was excellent with large portions. Weâll probably try to split a meal next time. She had shrimp and scallops; I had flounder and shrimp grilled and might try blackened next time for a little more jolt. The sides were very good as were the hush puppies. Excellent meal and excellent service. Thank you so much for coming and for your excellent comments on the food, service and view. We hope that you will come again. Gratefully, Inlet View
