Reviews on Seafood food in Strongsville, Ohio, United States. Strongsville is a city in Cuyahoga County, Ohio, United States, and a suburb of Cleveland. As of the 2010 census, the city population was 44,750. The city's nickname 'Crossroads of the Nation,' originated from the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad (B&O) intersecting with the Southwestern Electric Line that connected Cleveland and Wooster, Ohio. As the railroad line ceased operation in 1931, the motto and city seal have been adapted to reflect the modern day intersection of Interstate 71 and the Ohio Turnpike.

Famous since 1933, we're the home of only the finest USDA Prime and Choice aged beef, hand cut on premise. Our seafood selections compromise of the very freshest and varietal species our Cleveland markets fly in daily. We boast a Giant 1 lb. Lobster Tail!
Four of us dined here. All food was delivered by a 16 ish runner in a T shirt. The calamari was accompanied by three different sauces which were not explained. Dinner was delivered and when we told her that we didn't have forks, she dumped 4 complete setups, filled up in napkins in the center of our crowded table. Two of us had Walleye, two had Prime Rib. Lots of Panko on the Walleye. Both decent but unremarkable. Portions are very generous, especially the sides. Dinners come with a nice salad as well. Wine list is quite limited. Worst Old Fashioned that I have ever had.Plenty of other options in the area at this price point. $$$.. We will not return.Sorry to hear about your experience, that is not the norm at Timber Lodge. The runners are young adults that we hope to groom into servers some day. The t-shirts are for lobster season that lasts a couple of months, otherwise they are in button down shirts and tie with an apron. We continue to work on the wine lists and it has grown in the last few months, sorry we didn't have what you were looking for. Other restaurants keep huge inventory of wines and have to charge 3 times the cost to the consumer because of the large cost in having such a list. We price our wines not far off of retail so our customers and friends can enjoy wines that are much more expensive at other places. No restaurant in the area can beat our price point as you mentioned as you pay for the salad and sides that we include and our dinners that are priced lower, and we all buy the same meat and seafood as they do. We strive to beat expectations and sorry we didn't live up to your expectations.

Sometimes choosing a chain restaurant means having the tried and true. Our recent visit to Red Lobster was no different. We went because we had a coupon and it was the last day of "never-ending Shrimp". Marilyn was our waitstaff person and was very helpful. I had the shrimp and my husband had the Tilapia, both very good. Marilyn was very enthusiastic about the new menu to start the following day, with some new and different items. She encouraged us to come again and itry it.
