Pizzeria al Tiglio is located at the beginning of the Montello's hills in Nervesa della Battaglia, a small town in the province of Treviso. The owners Aldo and Stella, with their thirty years experience, try every day to make their customers feel at home.
When we arrived at this pizzeria at 7.30 we were just about the only diners, however it quickly filled up and was very busy (and buzzy) for a Tuesday evening. The owner / head chef was very friendly and welcoming. The menu is extensive and we made the mistake of ordering starters and main courses. When the starters arrived they were so huge we quickly realised we would struggle to manage a main course too. My son had the biggest calzone you have ever seen.My wife had a delicious dish with endives and melted cheese. As the restaurant got busier the service started to deteriorate. The 3 waitresses could not cope very well and brought things at odd times / forgot things. Before we left the owner / chef produced a bottle of limoncello and insisted we all have a glass. We were really happy to have found this restaurant in Nervesa della Battaglia.

The restaurant is elegant with gorgeous lighting and decor. The host Alessandro is charming and welcoming and the staff are helpful, friendly and professional. The enoteca is relaxed and has a great selection of wines. The food is quite sublime, beautifully presented and cooked perfectly. All in all a wonderful way to spend an evening.

What a wonderful surprise....location not far from the Benetton headquarters. The owner, Ivano Cendron graciously welcomed us to his locale and suggested we trust him to bring a sampling of the Seafood appetizers. We agreed and were marveled by the variety of shellfish plus! A platter appeared with some shrimp, strips of calamari, cuttlefish, and a couple of other items which were all in a seafood salad presentation - all delicious! 5 separate spoons filled with "baccala`", dried codfish cooked and again, delicious and artful presentation. My personal favorite was the next dish of swordfish carpaccio! Like ambrosia! Another plate with Scampi served in a ceviche` style, like butter in your mouth! Yet another dish with tiny stir fried shrimp served on a bed of white polenta. And finally, mouthwatering baked on shell scallops with their own roe...oooohhhhh so good!!! A nice bottle of Prosecco accompanied all this heavenly seafood and at the mention of "let;s see what you might like for your first or second dishes...we all responded that we were just too full to eat another bite, except, of course, for dessert! That too was artful in presentation and exquisitely ambrosial! I had their strawberry millefogli, which was filo dough with fresh strawberries, pastry cream and whipped cream...yum! A creme caramel was served in a martini glass with a bottom layer of caramel, then the creme, topped with the caramel, a raspberry and a heart shaped biscuit. Would I return here to sample their pastas, risottos, and their "secondi"? In a heartbeat! Beautiful local, amazing food!

We ate here on a Friday night and it was extremely busy, we were lucky to get a table as we hadn't booked. The food was really good, only one of us ordered a Calzone and they brought mini calzones for the others when this came out. We had the seafood spaghetti which is served in a really interesting way & was delicious.

Great italian food. Exactly what one would expect when travelling to Italy and looking for a great traditional Italian restaurant. Quite a big menu with extensive choices, including a lot of meat and fish dishes and a few vegetarian options. We had the "local" red wine, which is made from Raboso grape. My partner and I both love wine and we had never tried this grape before and are very glad to have discovered it.The whole meal was delicious and the bill was very reasonable given the quality. The room where we ate was really beautiful and there was a very welcoming and warm atmosphere to the place.

Family restaurant, serves only fresh fish selected daily by the owners.
We had a very good lunch. This restaurant servs normaly only fish. If meat is asked before, they prepare it. It is possible to have ham and salads wich are not on the menue list. Very good wine selecton. The restaurant is not that easy to find, but people can be asked, everybody knows DaNano. For en italian restaurant it is quite expensive, even if they have prices from guide michelin

It has now been thirty years since Guido and Graziella first started to passionately run this restaurant, just outside Treviso, where seafood recipes are the only meals served. Quality first of all! This is Guido's cuisine motto. Guido personally chooses
We had an excellent dinner of seafood. the anti-pastas were fantastic with all sorts of shellfish. The main was fresh fish and this was done to perfection. Our host only had sashimi, i tried a few pieces and found it to be excellent. The meal was fished of with cheese served by a cheese sommelier, pretty impressive, but I guess this is the point.
