Sunday late lunch at this restaurant with freinds was amazing. Met up with freinds who use this Restaurant all the time. Such a freindly ,warm atmosphere ,and Susanne the Head Waitress made it so nice and welcoming for us. The meal was Delicious , beautiful flavours and very reasonable on price. The nice thing about this establishment is that you can see the very capable chefs ,prepare and cook your food if you wish ,through the gap to the kitchen area .Becoming a very popular venue now and really you have to book before you go as not to be dissappointed.I would say A Cut Above The Norm to describe this little Gem of a Restaurant. Also with this restaurant, you take your own drinks which keeps the cost down but worth every lira.

Went for a last minute birthday meal last night and had to accept a 9pm slot as the restaurant was busy. I chose the battered cod with twice cooked chips but when the meal came it looked as though the cod had been twice cooked as well. The batter was completely overcooked and was inedible. When I complained it was changed without fuss but in my opinion it shouldn't have been served like that in the first place. My wife chose the the Goan curry which was very tasty but contained a lot of bones which was disappointing. We normally have a very good meal at Loch Fyne but if last night's meal had been our first time at the restaurant I don't think that we would have been going back in the future.Langfield64, it is really disappointing to hear that your experience was anything less than great, and your feedback will be taken on board.

Usually head to the South Indian restaurant down the road when we fancy something spicy and tastes from home. Decided to try Ruchie after a recommendation. Definitely will be returning. The seafood soup was delicious, the dosas were fab and the chetinadhu lamb curry and rice was very tasty as was the peshwari nan. Drinks were an ample size, which is great value. Went with my parents, hubby and kids and everyone enjoyed their meals. Didn't have dessert as we were too full but would like to try them next time.
