My wife and I really wanted to try fresh local King Crab Legs while visiting Alaska so our family stopped in, along with everyone else, after the White Pass train tour. The line was out the door and they still managed to seat our party of 6 in less then 15 minutes!!!! While we were waiting, everyone leaving keep saying how it was worth the wait and that the fish and chips were the best they have had.Our waitress, Rori L, gave us great service. She was personable, knowledgeable on the local food and local brews, and Skagway overall. Although the restaurant was packed she made it seem like we were the only ones there by answering our tourist questions and the fast service! We order the 1lb King Crab legs, over the single jumbo leg, and as soon as we had our first bite.....we ordered another round!!! Rori even offered up a just the crab portion that was a little cheaper then whole meal. The legs were full of meat, sweet tasting, and they were cooked(steamed) to perfection. We are so glad we did and that we had our first real local King Crab from Skagway's.A member of my family ordered the fish and chips and agreed with everyone leaving that they were some of the best!!The beer is local and cold, the restaurant is clean and authentic, the service is great, and the food is over the top delicious!!!If you visit Skagway, you MUST, MUST check this place out!!!

Olivia's is a fully licensed restaurant serving featuring the finest from our award winning 5000 sq ft kitchen garden and fresh Alaska seafood. Espresso Bar, Lunch Dinner, Sunday Brunch. Stroll our garden. Famous for Fresh (from our Garden) Mint Mojitos,
We shared a plate of Alaskan King Crab legs between our party, and each ordered a meatloaf sandwich that was made with beef and caribou. If we had known how colossal the sandwiches were, we would have split one sandwich between two people! It's expensive, but you get a LOT of food for the money. The crab was delicious, and make sure you save room for the bread pudding for dessert, even if you split one between your party - it's worth it! Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful! The whole meal!

A gem of an outdoor dining experience with friendly Alaskan staff and delicious local food. All of our seafood is fresh, wild, locally caught and sustainably processed. We're a local favorite off the beaten track - true Alaskan eating!
Just a block or so off the beaten path of the main street, this is worth seeking out. The halibut and chips are outstanding and you can find your friends underneath a tent with picnic tables in this very windy city. The staff are quite friendly and helpful for folks whose first language is not English. The food is quite good and they have an unusual coleslaw which uses thyme as the primary seasoning; different and quite good from the typical slaw served with fish.

We had a brisket & sausage sandwich, chili, and potato salad. Sandwich was very good with nice, moist brisket. Chili was good, too, but we didnât care for the smokey potato salad. Beer selection was pretty thin and metal chairs on lower porch should be used in prisons. We enjoyed the upper porch.
