Queequeg's offers an Eclectic American Cuisine using fresh seasonal ingredients. Join us for a romantic dinner in a fun Bistro setting with an intimate bar scene. Indoor & Outdoor dinning available.
We recently visited Nantucket for our Anniversary. We made a reservation (definitely recommended during the busy season). Queequeg's is located on a quiet side street. We had an outdoor table and the weather was perfect. We started with Lobster bisque (delicious) and beet salad which was also very good. I had shrimp scampi and my husband had duck. Both of our meals were delicious. It was a very relaxing atmosphere. Service was very good and we did not feel rushed. The staff was very pleasant and professional. Pricing was competitive with area restaurants...we felt it was reasonable and the portions were generous. We enjoyed the meal very much. Good location to have quiet conversation during a busy season.

This is the type of pricey restaurant where you want everything to be perfect. The first small disappointment was the $49 peppercorn filet my husband ordered medium but it arrived medium well (almost no pink to be found in the meat) with hardly any flavor. It might be considered a good cut of meat but we wanted perfection and my husband was too hungry to complain about the over-cooked meat. However my $42 halibut tasted amazing. The second small disappointment was the port wine we ordered with our dessert. Listed on the menu for $15 but put on our bill at $16. The kind waiter explained he delivered an old dessert menu by accident. Again just missed the opportunity to make things perfect by offering to match the menu price we were given.Nantucket has so many phenomenal restaurants at high but not incredibly high pricing that itâs hard to justify spending the extra $10 a plate over everywhere else on the island. If everything had been perfect then I would be bragging about the setting and the incredible staff and saying I understand why itâs more money then other places but thatâs not my review due to only a couple of small disappointments.Dear Sulouwill,I'm so sorry to read your review..... You "small" disappointment are disappointing to read....My apologies about your husband's steak, I wish he would have said something so we could have grilled him another "perfect" steak as I agree that an overcooked steak is disappointing to say the least. Glad you loved your Halibut and I would love to brag about the incredible setting overlooking the Nantucket Harbor and seeing the boats/ferries come and go all day/evening.....I certainly hope you and your husband will give us another chance to show you our true BPG experience!! This is the restaurant in the hotel where we stayed. I had the blueberry pancakes and they were the best pancakes I have ever had. Ate there again and had the biscuits and gravy (being from the south, I was very skeptical) but they were melt in your mouth good.

CRU is a premier oyster bar offering casually elegant cuisine in a visually stunning waterfront setting on Nantucket harbor.
Great vibe at this spot on the harbor! Enjoyed champagne and oysters during restaurant week! We were looking for a nice spot with a view to have lunch and our driver from our hotel suggested Cru.. My husband had a lobster salad which he enjoyed. I noticed at another table that the lobster roll looked huge and the lady even said to her partner that she was really happy with her choice . I had a salad with grilled chicken. My only issue was that I donât like blue cheese dressing and unfortunately the waiter could only offer red wine vinegar as a substitute. Hard to believe they only have one salad dressing??? It was supposed to come with grapes , walnuts and apples. It did not have any of these and when I asked about it I was brought a bowl of grapes. Weird. Otherwise I would give the place a 5 star review. I think our waiter had a difficult time understanding me. Will try it again though.

We stopped here and they packed up a pound of fresh lobster meat and a bluefish pate for us. We paid market price for the lobster (totaling $54!) but it tasted incredible after a short walk to Brant Point. For about $50/picnic, we enjoyed two separate days of yummy lunch with pate and lobster from here, fresh baguettes from something natural, and vegetables/fruit and beer from the stop and shop and liquor store in town. It was incredibly delicious and we would definitely stop in here again to try their pre-made seafood sandwiches. BRING CASH- there's an ATM next door if you need it.

Had dinner at this restaurant last night and the experience was disappointing. We've eaten at Straight Wharf before and enjoyed it. After reading some reviews, I would like to echo that the service was not good. We waited over 20 minutes before anyone approached our table, even to offer a glass a water. When the server did approach us, his demeanor was snarky to be kind. It was then another 20 minutes to get our drinks and even longer for their delicious bread. Also, no mention of the evening's specials. I overhead the server telling these to another table. There are so many outstanding restaurants here with excellent service that our experience was disappointing. We have had great experiences this summer at Ship's Inn, Galley Beach, Boarding House, Summer House (before the fire), Cru and The Pearl. Here, the food was good, as always, but the service was lacking. Add to that the new 2 percent add on for kitchen staff and we will be taking a break from Straight Wharf.

Wednesday night. 6:30 reservation. It is after Labor Day. Everybody is supposed to have left the Island. But......Can hardly find a parking spot! Inside, it is NOISY. The place is absolutely loaded. All tables full. It seems that everyone is sitting with half glasses of wine.....just sitting and waiting and waiting for their main courses. So I began to wonder if we made a mistake coming here. We didn't!!Huge menu. Huge wine and booze lists. My wife had two apps instead of a main course. Tuna Poke...superb. A funky potato dish--- 1000 layer duck fat potato with malt vinegar aioli! Now that was amazingly delicious!!! I had a really large caesar salad, considering it was a 'side' salad...and then the always reliable cod with lobster mashed potatoes.....excellent, but not as exciting or great as my wife's apps. $100 for two. Worth every nickel. Great waiter...and didn't have to wait very long for the main course. Don't miss this place! (Big parking lot behind it!)

Nantucket's only restaurant overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. The Beachside Bistro with its incomparable location for al fresco lunches and dinners and its elegant yet unpretentious food is like nothing else on Nantucket. It is at once both supremely relaxi
Stopped here for lunch and was very happy with our entire meal and drinks. We had a great margarita to start our lunch. As an appetizer we had the hummus plate, which was excellent! I had fish tacos for lunch which were fantastic and my husband had the BLTA, which was also very good. The food is not cheap, but it is very good.

On a bluff overlooking the Atlantic in Siasconset, the Summer House Restaurant is known not only for its picturesque Siasconset location but also for its imaginative contemporary cuisine and outstanding wine list. Dinner each evening is an event - subdued
This is a one of a kind. Been going here for decades. But honestly they need to fix the place up. The prices of everything on Nantucket have gotten just plain stupid. Honestly it's getting into rip off territory. I spent almost $500 for drinks and dinner for three for some barely above average food. This place has no business charging $20 for cocktails. Like so many things on Nantucket, there is a thin line between charming antique and simply run down sloppy. It's obvious this place spends ZERO on maintenance. Come on guys step it up or get real with your prices or both
