A family-run place that surprised us positively with each course served. For starters you can go for the dried red peppers for which the town is known for (though for some they might have a slightly bitter sidetaste). They put quite some effort to their pizzas and prepare the dough 24h ahead and the result was so delicious we would have returned the following day for lunch of they only would have been open. Pasta was thumbs-up as well and the ricotta and pear cake for dessert was yummy while also not being too sweet. Also, their house wine (falanghina, i think) was a positive surprise as several house wines that I tried during the week in the south were not that spectacular. This all came with a very friendly and helpful service. In short, highly recommended place.

We really enjoyed our meal at this restaurant inside of the hotel. We were getting gas at a station nearby and looking for some place to eat before we decided to go explore the lake. This place was great. The servers were all so nice and friendly. One man took out son around walking. The brought out some fruit for him to eat while we ate our meal. They had a pretty large menu by Italian standard--seafood, rabbit, pastas, rice. We got an appetizer with the local pepper dish. They had both stuffed peppers (green peppers with some breading on the inside--good) and the other crispy red peppers that were unlike anything I have ever tasted before. They served the crispy peppers with just salt. I would really like to know how they made them--it was almost like they were dehydrated, but they tasted great. The appetizer also had the typical meats and cheeses. For lunch my husband got a gnocchi with a creamy mushroom sauce. It was so rich and wonderful. I had the paccherri pasta with some seafood. It wasn't especially heavy on the seafood--some clams and shrimp (which you, of course, peel yourself here in Italy), but it had a great flavor. The wine was nice and only cost 3 Euro for a bottle (maybe this was a mistake!). It was a great dining experience. I'm really glad we decided to look around and found this place to eat!
