Slow service, half of the time the waiter didn't hear us. Maybe, he's deaf?..I ordered a meal - wild boar. The smell was too strong and too spiced! They said that this type of meat is quite strong... so why the hell add even more spices then???Wine was bad too. We founding better wine in other restaurants. Grazie,però se Lei non gradisce i sapori forti mangi un petto di pollo.Purtroppo,il nostro aiuto di sala è vermente sordo.Dovremmo forse rifiutargli il lavoro e la possibilità di portare a casa un tozzo di pane?Giudichi chi leggerà .Danilo

This restaurant is just off the Aurelia about 20 minutes out of Grosseto going south towards Rome. Take the exit for Rispescia. Simple traditional interior - comfortable and warm. We enjoyed a good local antipasti selection followed by delicious home-made gnocchi with a big choice of sauces. I had artichokes and fresh tomatoes - delicate but tasty. My companion had truffles. Although we were full at that point, we both stretched our belts for dessert - one tiramisu and one crème caramel, both excellent - the tiramisu freshly made. With a small carafe of house red we paid 52 euro. Highly recommended. Friendly service too.

Ulisse opened his place in Magliano in toscana a couple of months ago. We happened there by chance the first time in august and came back later in september. In both occasions we had a fantastic seafood lunch , made with top quality products, an excellent cooking and a lovely atmosphere. Ulisse loves his job and you feel it.

Torniamo a distanza di un anno al Borgo Magliano Resort per un breve soggiorno di un week..venerdi sera ceniamo al ristorante Punto&A Capo che si trova all'interno dell'agriturismo e con grande delusione scopriamo e ci accorgiamo da subito che la gestione è cambiata notevolmente in peggio.Nulla da dire sul personale cortese e disponibile ma la qualità dei prodotti utilizzati è pessima e l'esecuzione dei piattil non da me meno.Che gran peccato..ma come si fa ad optare per una ristorazione di questo livello in una struttura turistica coai bella?E ancora..siamo in piena maremma..come si fa a non onorare questa terra sacra con piatti del genere e salumi da discount?I toscani dovreebbero inibirlo!Sacrilegio!Inoltre l'anno scorso abbiamo cenato e fatto colazione nella splendida terrazza e giardino e quest'anno siamo stati costretti al chiuso nonostante il tempo fosse bellissimo!Peccato per Il Borgo Magliano Resort che perde di conseguenza come meta di relax in un contesto rilassante e meraviglioso!

i we have really enjoyed going to 'da noi a cana'... on numerous occasions! the welcome and service is always heartfelt - your hosts are present, professional and accommodating with all your wishes! they also cater for vegetarian and gluten-free customers. we all have enjoyed our meals- ranging from a fantastic 'schweinshaxn' at the Octoberfest (what a hoot! do go!) to a falling-off-your-plate sized delicious seafood 'starter' (i dare you to be able to eat anything else after that...) garnished with rolling hills and olive groves on a summer's night on this one of a kind terrace .... the setting is special! they have done a great job with renovations of this property- and i adore the chandeliers in the double volume Loos! :-) Da-noi-a-cana & team; THANK YOU! we'll be back, LOTS and LOTS of times!

I was on the way around Tuscany with my elderly mother and my 3 kids (ages 11, almost 8 and 6.5). We chose the place for the view in the first place - it was so nice... Ambiance of the restaurant was simple, but fire in the pizza over was enticing and promising the food is going to be good. Shrimp cocktail is not their strenght, menu in German was simply poorly translated, so we went for what we knew cannot be mistaken in an Italian restaurant - pomodori bruschetta, calzone and pizza. Instead of finely shopped pomodory bruschetta we got served something with cheese and liver spread - tasted ok(ish), but I got a sense it was not fresh, may have been even frozen from last day. Pizza was good, as one would expect. Evening was flowing and nice Tuscan evening was coming down, so we finally asked for our check - EUR 12 on top of the bill threw me off. And to my question what this charge was for the younger waiter displayed "confussione" on his face and went to call for chef, who was marching around with his big belly and chef's puffy hat. He told us something in Italian and then started articulating that the fee was for the table cloth and napkins they were kind enough to put at our disposal.My kids and I are well travelled, but we never saw anything like this - fee for table cloth and napkins, which was not disclosed in the menu or anywhere in the restaurant. We paid and left. Worst of all, I felt that I was taken out because we were foreign and did not speak the language.So, in short, beware of such places, which scam the customers and treat them different from local people - if you passing from Montiano, do drive by the Il Rialto, do not stop there.

First class Italian restaurant for less. Everything fresh and delicious. Prices are a little higher than fast food:) Very tasty pizza Margarita is for 5 euro. I can recommend also Best quality Seafood soup for 10 euro and the Swordfish steak for 10 euro. And of course tiramisu at the end for 4 euro.

Alberto and Daniele are the coolest guys. Faced with impossibly de lupus choices, I asked Alberto to make me a special sandwich. he laughed and made me a "Panino Alberto" which was Tuscan salami and pecorino. I swear I've never tasted any sandwich so good. It's the only store in the village and is full of life.

At lunch and at dinner in the warm months you can sit outside under an arbour and eat delicious fish in an area where meat is the norm. We live nearby and have been going there for years, on our way up from Grosseto to Scansano. It is very much a local restaurant and the proprietors are known to everyone.
