An unexpected surprise, booked because I had a voucher, did not expect great things, but oh boy was I wrong. Greek food better than we have had in Athens, seafood to die for. A real gem, friendly staff and sensible pricing. We will come back!

We return to Platters every time we are in Plymouth. The service is friendly the prices are very reasonable but most of all the seafood is fresh and always cooked to perfection. The Clam chowder is amazing. Would highly recommend Platters and will be returning next time we are there!

The British staple - fish and chips! Well, I visit chip shops more often than I probably should... have been to some fantastic shops who produce really great food at amazing value, so the Saltash Codfather needed to be better than amazing; I found it as average. Not bad not amazing, just okay. The chips seemed as if they were frozen chips rather than real potatoes - this makes a big difference - if they were real, what happened? They were okay honestly, just not the best Iâve had. Value? Hmm. It was fine actually and wasnât too expensive for what we had. Would I go back? Hmm. 70% sure I would.

Great staff , great fish and chips, look forward to returning soonHi Neil3333,What a great review, thank you so much! To compare our Fish and Chips with that of a two Michelin-starred restaurant is praise indeed!I'll definitely pass your kind comments onto our Front of House and Kitchen teams, we all work extremely hard to ensure that everyone leaves with a smile on their faces.Hopefully we'll 'sea' you again soon.Kind regards,Steve

A small family run bistro, offering over 50 wines sold by the glass, carafe or bottle. All food is cooked to order, so we're not a place to visit if you're in a rush (unless you pre-order), but a great place to relax and enjoy fresh local produce. Primari
Love this place, so possibly biased!! Had a lovely celebratory meal lunchtime and all stops pulled..every detail was spot on, food, service and ambiance first class. Thank you for a great meal, as always!! See you soon. X

There are a few fast food eat in and out food places in Plymouth some of which have a modest cult status in the city either because of their prominent and convenient position or because of a consistent reputation. West Hoe Fryers has such a reputation for
Nothing like a great fish and chip shop. This is one of them. Never had a bad meal here - and the staff are always friendly and polite. In fact, we go out of our way to come here as the food is so consistently good! Best in Plymouth.Definitely one to try, if you haven't!

We ordered a big portion of cod and a big portion of cod and chips. The pieces of fish were enormous, nicely battered and really tasty. The chips were good too. One portion was enough for 2. It was very quiet in the late afternoon. We didn't have to wait long and the meal was served piping hot. The only negative thing was the dirty floor.

The Rod and Line is a 16th century Inn with accommodation. It retains its traditional charm and interior, tables are lit by candles and most of the year a fire burns in the large fireplace which is central to the pub. It sells a range of real ales and loc
Have stayed over night on a couple of occasions and really enjoyed the hospitality, food and friendly service. Fabulous rooms with comfortable beds and excellent shower, great pub food and one night there was a live band who were first class. Wish this was my local pub.
