Fresh is everything to a seafood restaurant, especially ours, and we try our best to deliver fresh seafood to your table each and every visit. Local fishermen and crabbers leave our shores daily and guide their boats out into the Gulf of Mexico to fish on

2 of us had the Lobster and Corn Chowder and I can easily say itâs in my top three favorite soups ever. Iâd go in weekly just for that. Another had Mikeâs Chowder and he loved his too. We also had cod fish and chips, clam cakes and coleslaw. Our entire meal was perfect, start to finish. Our server, Sam, took her time with us and patiently answered our many questions before we ordered.

Food, service, the girls that work here shouldnât be around people, how dare they treat people who travel to them for a good time to ruin our vacations, and lives. Appalling, aside from this place being dirty, they were coming through with garbage cans into the same area as food. What a waste of time. Save your time, money and energy. Totally disgusted.I find this near impossible to believe based on the overwhelming majority of our reviews on this site as well as every other major social media source out there and most importantly the daily positive on site feedback we get from all of our customers over the 13+ years we have been in business. I would sincerely like to confirm you actually dined with us and the details of who waited on you and your experience...can you please explain in greater detail how exactly we "ruined your vacation and lives"? The Lighthouse Restaurant did not disappoint! Our service was excellent and the food first class. The presentation of our food made our mouth water. Our wait staff was visible but not intrusive. We didnât feel as though we were rushed. If we get back to this area, I wouldnât hesitate to return.

This place was absolutely the best!!! Great atmosphere, great service , great food. Itâs recommended to get. All ahead seating as itâs gets full fast. We had the crab legs, fried shrimp, oysters in the half shell, and bread. The bread they serve at the table is homemade and delicious. This is a must do.

Open Air Tiki Bar on water.
I was surprised as I assumed mediocrity when I walked in, but the food was really good and the portions were more than fair. Fish Taco's, a Fish sandwich, the pork sandwich and coconut shrimp all received terrific reviews from the group. Beer and wine only so you selection for drinks is a little limited, but the location and service make up for it

Get ready to experience the best food in Fort Myers! Voted Best Continental Cuisine in The News-Press Reader's Choice Poll. Our menu, offering high-quality food served with a beautiful presentation is so varied we are sure to please everyone in your party
Get ready because this is one of the best restaurants in Fort Myers! 1st we were greeted with a warm welcome by Betty who seated us, then TJ- who was so hardworking greeted us with water, oil and bread and Courtney was our waiter. Both Courtney and TJ was very polite, professional and nice. The bread and olive oil was delicious. We ordered crab cakes for appetizers and the steak was great-the best I have ever tasted. This is one of those restaurants where I feel like everything on the menu is good!! We both enjoyed our dinner on a very special night.I love the fact that Courtney's is a family-run restaurant - Courtney was our waiter, his father Dale is the chef, and his mother Betty greets each customer. you can tell the food is cooked with care, love, and consist of good quality ingredients. My husband even left his glasses at the restaurant and Betty was so kind to drop it off at the hotel for us. I love local owned businesses and this restaurant is on the top of my list. Thanks to Betty, TJ, Courtney and Dale for making out visit from NJ to Sanibel Island a GREAT ONE on our 19th Anniversary!!

We were there with the whole family to celebrate Christmas' Eve. The location is perfect, almost on the beach, as the name says. The staff was friendly and efficient, the location festive for the occasion, the food excellent (I especially recommend the hazelnut crusted tuna) and there was even music and room for dancing! We had a very good time for our first Christmas abroad!Thank you for sharing your experience! We're glad you and your family had a great evening at Traditions on the Beach to celebrate Christmas Eve. We appreciate your review and hope you had a great time on Sanibel during your stay!
