We were planning for a trip to Saleccia's Beach. As it was too windy, we had to stop on Lodu's Beach. This is a really nice spot! You can gentely rest under the trees, enjoying a fantastic view other the sea and experiencing simple but nice dishes.

We had lunch at La Crique whilst visiting Saint Florent. We ordered the fritto Misto to share and a few main courses. Everything was beautiful and fresh. The waiters were funny and pleasant. The desserts were out of this world and the café gourmand a nice treat. The only down point is that they didn't have the Magnum or Rose wine we ordered and we had to pay for 2 bottles which came a bit more expensive. Yes they don't accept credit card but it's mentioned everywhere if you just pay attention. Great place and no, not too expensive if you don't order the lobster :)!

Place is like a miracle, beautifull view on the bay!We loved seeing the sunset! Our food was delicious, starter with products from Corsica, and after that we had a delicious âloupâ. ( white fish)The service was ok, but not very personal, they didnât have enough servers for this big terrace. But for us it was ok,we enjoyed our dinner!

We arrived in St Florant late afternoon and parked in the quayside carpark after first locating our hotel. We wandered round this beautiful little town with its vibrant, full of life atmosphere taking in the sights sounds and the ever pervasive aroma of garlic. Having driven from landing in Bastia across country to St Florant we picked up a takeaway sandwich and a cool drink from one of the many places around the quay and sat under in the shade to eat. We had noticed a restaurant right on the quay which had not only a formal restaurant but a casual area and a very popular woodfired pizza oven for eat in or take away service, and thought this would be a good place to eat for our first night. We arrived at about 8.45 and were shown to a table on the deck overlooking the water, it was warm but with a cool that you often get near water. After consulting the menu we opted for the old favourite, moules frties, Corsican style and good old basic with wine and garlic for me, I'm a purist when it comes to moule. The food was finger licking and bread dunk fabulous and the fries weren't back either. The meal, 2 lots of moule, 1 beer, 1 bottle of fizzy water and a large pichet of red wine 47.00 Euros and the perfect start to our touring holiday here in Corsica.

The restaurant looks appealing, we saw a few times already and really felt this evening we wanted to eat pizza. The prices are average and in comparison with other restaurant in Saint-Florent quite reasonable. Pizza was very tasteful and good. However the waiters were not friendly at all and the restaurant acts as a big machine to process as much tables / pizzas as they can. So good food but not really a dining experience.

Actually the food was just okay but the service really ruined our evening. The young server was incredibly rude and arrogant. Perhaps he will learn to treat customers better when he grows up.

We were truly delighted with our dinner at LâAuberge du Pêcheur. Itâs surprising to walk through the entrance to the fish store and then enter this superb garden - just exquisite! The fish was fresh and flavorful. We were equally blown away with great service. Best meal of our week-long stay in Saint-Florent. Highly recommend!
