YES, it is a â¬15 ride from Padova but weâll worth the trip. The quality of the food and service is excellent.Probably one of the best meals we have had and we would not hesitate to come again if we were in Padova.I particularly enjoyed the Octopus and Cuttlefish to start, followed by the rabbit. My wife and friends also enjoyed the quail, asparagus cake, spaghetti with lamb ragout and risotto.Nothing not to like - well done Stefano

Went with some friends for lunch and overall was a very pleasant experience. If you want to try some Sicilian dishes - ranging from antipasti, through to first course and main dishes right up to deserts - this is a place to visit. Personally had a first course of "pasta alla Norma" (eggplant-based sauce), swordfish as a main course, and homemade canoli, all very good. The owner and his son are very hospitable and excellent hosts. If you are in the area and fancy some tastes of Sicily, then you should try this restaurant. They also cater for the usual Italian dishes.

We had a mixture of marinated fish for appetizer. It was amazing , even better that the main dish! After this we ate grilled mixed seafood with potatoes, zucchini and eggplant. It was excellent, but together with the appetizer it was too much, we could not eat the whole. Anyway, it's a very good place!Thank you so much for your review. They are customers like you who give us the strength to get on with our workDavide

The place somehow seems to be remote from civilization in the middle of nowhere. Neat and snug, no doubt. You can sit inside as well as outside. Both is nice.Been here several times already and have to say. The food has always been pleasant. The waiter (is it the owner?) always seems a bit grumpy / grouchy and never really happy. Even if the service so far has always been ok.However ... the last time I was there I ordered tuna in soy sauce. Delicious and enjoyable. The only thing is that once gotten home I remained attached to the toilet until 3 o'clock in the morning to figure out on the next day that my buddy who had eaten the same stuff had the same Montezuma's revenge side effects. Not good and definitely disappointing. Will not come back here - unfortunately.

Nine of us enjoyed dinner here last night. We have a variety of picky eaters in our party and everyone was satisfied. Those who like black squid will love this place:)We were sat on the back seating area which was nice atmosphere but incredibly hot this first day of August. The wait staff couldn't have been more patient or good to us. No English translated menu. Bathrooms were clean! Cost was fair, dessert recommended-caramel sauce on ice cream. It was more like flan. Best dish-black squid over polenta and the lobster w pasta.Only reason for not a higher rating is I'm not very adventuristic w seafood and I couldn't find a simple dish. And I was HOT!

L'Officina has moved to this new location. My wife and I have enjoyed this restaurant on our trips to this region for many years. We recently visited again in October of 2015 and found that the food preparation, wine list and service were still exceptional. This space is larger than their former location and they now includes a separate enoteca area with a simpler menu. For one of our lunches we enjoyed spaghetti with canocchie (mantis shrimp). These delicacies were shelled and served in a celery almond pesto that was delicate and delicious. Our second course was the classic fresh fish served with roasted potatoes, olives and tomatoes. In this case it was a locally caught Soaso. All the ingredients were perfectly cooked and beautifully presented. We took the wine suggestion from our waiter which was a traminer/sauvignon blend from Sicily that was reasonably priced and marvelous. This spot is about a ten minute drive from the center of Padua. Highly recommended!
