The food was good not great. My fish was fresh and crispy, but the fries were a little overcooked & coleslaw was soggy.Sorry you weren't totally satisfied. Hope you come back and give us another try! If you aren't 100% happy with your meal please let a manager know, as we are happy to talk to you.

I have been going here for more than a decade because of the consistent food quality. They make excellent sushi and do it relatively quickly at a reasonable price.The new space so far is disappointing though. The flow between ordering, paying, sitting, getting served.....it is a mess. They need to completely rethink the process and make better signs. Looks like they tried to build out the interior "on the cheap" instead of making it comfortable and inviting.Next time I will order to go or just grab pre-made sushi.

This upscale, lively restaurant, located on Woodward Ave north of 11 Mile Road, never disappoints. We've had dinner here 6 times in the past 6 months, and it's always busy- even on Mondays! The Maryland Chicken, consisting of chicken breasts with crab in a creamy sauce is my fav, but the blackened whitefish, sandwiches, salads, & fresh, homemade bread make this one of Royal Oak's best eateries! Make a reservation, even for 2 people, around dinner hours (5:00 - 7:30pm) or you will have to wait for a table. Nice bar, good cocktails, & a lively, but not too loud, atmosphere. Two thumbs up.

Great service, great jambalaya and fried oysters. The raw selection was excellent but the shucker wasnât. Disappointed with the inside of the shell being chipped and the oyster not being completely cut loose... not on one or two but on about half of the oysters I ordered. Iâll still be back tho.

Best place to come for happy hour. Wonderful bar tender (wish I could remember his name - I think he was trying to become an actor). Great selection of beer and specialty cocktails. Wonderful selection of food/appetizers during happy hour. Food and drinks were of high quality. Great prices and great value during this time period. We actually came back the next night. We will definitely be back!
