Pigeon Cove Tavern At Emerson Inn sports a casual yet elegant atmosphere with locally caught seafood, dramatic views of the Atlantic Ocean, exciting yet thoughtful cocktails, and fine wines, craft beers, and live music.
food tasted excellent and was presented very well. On busy nights reservations are a must and sometimes people linger after there meal so you may have to wait a few minutes for your table on those nights. ( only if sitting outside)Hi Bob - Thank you for your review! We're happy to hear that you enjoyed your dinner at Pigeon Cove Tavern. The 7th Wave is under new management for the 2017 season! We welcome you to visit us, try our new menu and of course, enjoy the view!
This casual restaurant, overlooking the water, has a nautical theme with robe chandeliers & weathered looking paneling on the walls. The five of us thought our food was tasty. I took off one star though, as their steamed lobster ($28 the day we were there) came with NO SIDES!!! Really?? Also, when I asked the waitress whether they served any bread or rolls, she said she could get us bread for a charge of $1.00! I know we were in a touristy place, but I thought that was chintzy. The biggest reason to eat here really is the fabulous view...

A comfortable restaurant with good service, great oysters and good food. Dining companion received a pork chop that was quite rare and needed to go back to the kitchen , I had a steak that was cooked properly but tough. Two other companions liked with mains very well. Attractive upscale atmosphere that is a tad noisy but quite charming nonetheless.

We stopped in the coffee shop inside the front of the restaurant for a quick pick me up. The server gave excellent advice regarding the roast and the scone, Raspberry Lime. That scone was just dense enough and just sweet enough. The raspberry influence was almost overpowered by a delightful lime flavor. The lime zest was the crowning touch.

Very good food, great chowder! Incomparable views. Wonderful setting on the lower deck right on the rocks. I recommend early evening for sunset while the weather holds. We didn't have a reservation but they fit us in and we spent a lovely, quiet evening watching the waves roll over the rocks while enjoying cocktails and dinner.

Roy Mooreâs Fish Shack (not to be confused with Roy Moore Lobster Co) has an accessible entry. It is the only restaurant in the square I noticed that was. The seating area was accessible. The is another seating area down some steps. I did not check the bathrooms for accessibility. The food - the best was the Haddock Chowder. Absolutely a must have. The clam chowder was tasty but really thick. Big thumbs up for the Fried Scallops, so sweet! Fried Haddock very fresh, unfortunately it was pieces not a whole fillet. Some of the pieces were dry. Twin Lobsters were sweet and fresh. The Lazy Lobster Casserole was forgettable. Small pieces of lobster in an overcooked dry stuffing. Had the squash and pilaf for sides. Great squash. Pilaf was a waste. Whole dish not worth the bother. But with the other choices, who needs it.As with most restaurants, the lobster prices were ridiculous. So much gouging! But you know that going in and Lobster is so good. Would be nice to see realistic pricing somewhere some day! Rest of the prices were reasonable. Entrees in the 20âs for the most part. Bowl of chowder a bargain.

Stopped in for lunch. Food was very good. We had a nice table by the window and watched the boats go in and out. The waitresses were so friendly. Telling us about the area and things to see. Would highly recommend stoppping there for a meal

Spent $20 for a lobster roll and chips. Although the roll looks âshortâ as compared to other rolls, it is stuffed with nothing but sweet lobster knuckle. Definitely a bargain for the quality and quantity.Took friends to the âfish shackâ, the formal sit down restaurant.we shared a bowl of yummy chowder before having the lazy lobster, shrimp plate and cocoanut shrimp plate. All were wonderful, not a spec of food left on plates. Get there early to avoid the crowd.
