If there is better food anywhere in Maine, I have yet to find it. Good selection of raw oysters shucked expertly. Chip's own hot sauce makes a delectable difference. We stuck to the small plates and were not disappointed. The fried clams looked and tasted a tad different than most, but were thoroughly enjoyable. No matter what else you order, you have to try the shrimp toast! Overall, this was one of the three best meals that I've had in my life!Service was incomparable. Take advantage of Happy Hour when raw oysters are 40% off with drink specials as well. My only regret is that I didn't try the fried oysters or one of the 5 or so daily specials. This is a MUST visit.

We are a family-run restaurant on the water. We opened with new ownership and management in April 2013 and are ecstatic to be in this beautiful location with an amazing staff and delicious food. We serve only fresh, local seafood and we welcome locals and
We went here recently for dinner. My husband and I both had the fried haddock . It was good, but not over the top good. I thought it was pricey , $20.00, and it came with french fries. I would have preferred a baked potato, but that was not an option. The interior of the restaurant was cute, but they had these towels that had been cut up and hemmed for table runners. Very odd.

Suzuki goes a great job at incorporating local fare (lobster; crab) with traditional Japanese style. Having eaten sushi all over the world, I can say with confidence, it is approaching world class. The restaurant is small and hours short so book early. The scallop and pork dumplings were excellent along with the crab and seaweed salad. Start with a saketini to get in the mood. All in all a great place for a light meal and alternative to lobster rolls. Highly recommended, Grab a window table if possible.

Stopped in for lunch. The crab cakes were the mildest I have ever eaten. They have nice outside seating overlooking a harbor.

Two amazing sisters run and operate this one of a kind local restaurant. Non touristy, but in the heart of the tourist Main Street. Unpretentious, amazing food and a seafood chowder that puts 5 stars to shame. Went back twice as the food and service was A-Mazing - fantastic lobster

We are a downtown take out truck. We feature the freshest seafood directly from my sons lobster boat! We make everything ourselves and hand pick our lobster and crab. We have awards for our lobster sandwich and also our chowder. We also offer pulled pork
We stumbled upon this place and so glad we did. Itâs a shack (a really nice one), with outdoor seating and brightly coloured umbrellas. They offer a range of sandwiches, soups, fish dishes and kids food.I had Mac and cheese with lobster and it was delicious! The other half had pea soup with a wedge of bread. Free refill drinks and a really happy, relaxed and friendly atmosphere. So glad we stopped here. We left feeling chilled and full.

Easy walk from the Limerock Inn. Wait staff and service was friendly and attentive. My wife had haddock and I enjoyed their crab cakes. Both were very good and were great on a coolish evening. We even split their carrot cake which was up to my wife's standards (she loves carrot cake).

Absolutely great! 2 breakfast dishes, 2 from the lunch menu. Out of 3 lobster rolls (at different spots) while in the midcoast this one was the best. The service is always spot on, what a great crew! Thank you Brass Compass!

Family owned and operated takeout restaurant, with outdoor seating. Fabulous fresh food, friendly quick service and daily specials! Bonus- indoor large, clean, handicap accessible bathroom.
I am on a lobster roll quest, and this is the best. There is the right amount of mayo (very little), the price is right, itâs LOADED with tasty fresh lobster, and most importantly, the bun is toasted...essential. Oh, very friendly staff, which is so sweet, thank you for that! It is clean, the washroom is spotless, the colors are cheerful. Others have had burgers and fries, which are also fabulous.
