Located in the heart of the Pennines, this loungey little bar and restaurant in Littleborough provides the perfect pitstop for weary sightseers and is a cosy spot popular with locals for intimate evening meals and superb Sunday roasts. The Waterside Resta
Another local which is fantastic for me.Visited for a birthday celebration at lunchtime on a Saturday.Weather was great so we sat outside..Eating Al fresco is so different..the outside area is enclosed so great for families and young children. There is a cabin for hire for larger parties and other events.Staff are very professional and courteous. The food was amazing a little over priced but definitely will recommend

Two of us went to Hollingworth Lake yesterday and called into this fish and chip cafe for lunch â and were very pleased that we did. We were welcomed with a smile from a nice young man and very quickly we had ordered â a two course fish and chip special for the wife (ice cream to follow) and a big boys fish and chips with peas and bread and butter for me plus tea for two. We didn't have long to wait before our meals were served, freshly fried, and piping hot.. Both meals were delicious and we really enjoyed them. The batter on the fish was crispy whilst the cod inside was lovely. The chips were 'old school' made and non of that frozen pre cut stuff and were great. Free sauces - what could be better. Total bill came to a very reasonable £18.94 which was good value for money. If in the area we will definitely return â we were well looked after and I'm sure that you will be too.

I called in the upstairs cafe last night with a friend itâs a little expensive but the smaller portions are big enough as my friend thought. I had the larger portion which was massive, to the point I had to leave some.the haddock was massive but really tasty and red hot. And my friend had the scampi which she loved too. Overall the food was lovely if a bit expensive
