Things to do in Ringwood
Loved this unassuming little fish & chip place on Wantirna Road. I live abroad and one of the things I miss the most are potato cakes. This place didn't disappoint. Lovely batter, crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside. All you could possibly want in a potato cake. We went back another time and ordered fish, chips and dim sims. These also were delicious and perfectly cooked. As a bonus they also have raspberry lemonade. Sorted! Thanks.
Whenever I order from this place it is always overcooked and greasy. Whenever my wife Orders from his place she seems to think that the food is fine. I think there are better fish and chip shops out there, but if youâre hungry and nearby, and you can be bothered going elsewhere, then this place is passable.
This is a wonderful fish and chips shop. The fish is so fresh that they even sell their fresh uncooked fish for a meal so you can imagine how fresh their fish is.But really the cooked fish is delicious and the chips are crunchy in the outside and soft in the inside.Absolutely spectacular fish and chips.
My girlfriend and I have tried quite a few places in the local area and Grey Shark has the best fish. I would love to say fish and chips but unfortunately I can only compliment the fish. The chips are pretty ordinary. Potato cakes and hotdogs in batter are decent but if it's great fish your after, Grey Shark should be your local too!

Family run chippy serves fantastic fresh fish either cooked or for you to take home and cook yourself. Run by lovely people. I have visited here many times over the years and have never had a bad experience. Consistent delicious fresh fish.

Came for dinner with the kids. It's a self service restaurant. Casual vibe. Bright and clean. Somewhat crowded. Ordered the fish and chips with calamari. The fish was lightly battered and crispy. The flake was firm but slightly bland in flavour. Portion size was not large. The chips were good. The grilled fish came with a generous portion of rice and salad. Everything was fresh.Overall a decent place to eat. Not exceptional though.
